Sensitive Sweets

I just wanted to thank you and your team for the wonderful experience we had with our granddaughter this weekend. She is highly allergic to eggs (anaphylactic reaction) and while for years we have been trying to come up with recipes for her. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful with a recipe for a gingerbread house for her. I was so excited to find your website and find your gingerbread house was egg free. She told all her young friends and teacher about getting a gingerbread house this past week and how her house was coming all the way from California. It was delivered completely intact. Thank you for the great experience and another memory with her.

Just a quick update on my previous review: I am officially married, and my wedding cake was outstanding! I opted for a simple cake and added my own topper/flowers. My family of gluten and dairy consumers devoured it! Everyone commented on how delicious the cake was. Sensitive Sweets, once again, made my day ♥️ I am allergic to gluten and dairy, which usually means dessert is not an option for me unless I make it myself. Sensitive Sweets has been a godsend. The staff is always friendly and the desserts are INCREDIBLE. My friends and family can't even tell their desserts are allergen-free. My fiance and I are in the process of ordering our wedding cake from Sensitive Sweets. I'll be sure to update my review and share photos once it is complete. I know it'll be amazing ♥️

I ordered plain gingerbread men shape cookies and a gingerbread house kit. I got the order few days before Thanksgiving day. The cookies plain are delicious, and the gingerbread house my family put it together after the Thanksgiving meal today. It was such a treat to have family time together to build the gingerbread house and have everything provided in the kit. We place the gingerbread house in the center of our dinning room table and will use it as a decoration for Christmas Day. Thank you Sensitive Sweets Bakery for helping us build our family memories.

10/10 the cake was amazing and what’s better is my 1 year old got to enjoy his smash cake without me worrying if he was going to be affected by allergens in the ingredients! As long as I live in California I will make the drive every year to pickup my sons birthday cake here! So thankful I got his cake here and the crew was so kind and extra careful about cross contamination!

As someone with a dietary sensitivity to many foods, my husband was unable to eat the wedding cake we had picked out for all of our guests to enjoy. So we decided to also get a groom's cake so he could enjoy some tasty dessert too! Fortunately, Sensitive Sweets had our backs. They were able to accommodate his needs with this low-FODMAP cake. We had a video game theme to our wedding, so he asked them to design it with a Legend of Zelda theme. It both looked and tasted amazing! We've gone back many times for their other tasty treats.

I needed custom Harry Potter cookies for a friends birthday that were GF, dairy free, egg free, and nut free. Let’s all just take a moment to admire the artistry of these cookies!! I am so so happy with my order, I will be back. I live in PA so the cookies were shipped to me. I was a little nervous that they wouldn’t make it in one piece but they absolutely did!! My over all experience was fantastic, I plan on purchasing more custom cookie orders from Sensitive Sweets!

I have a kid who has many food sensitivities. It’s honestly sad that you can’t just go to a store and and find gluten free/egg free/dairy free gingerbread houses. I assume the idea of “gluten free” hasn’t made it’s way to the holidays. However, I asked around and someone had suggested Sensitive Sweets. I don’t live in California, but I loved that some of their items are offered with shipping! I also ordered in December thinking it would take forever to get here, but the gingerbread house kits I ordered arrived a lot sooner than I had thought! Thank you Sensitive Sweets for offering a gingerbread house so that my son can experience building a house instead of having to just “sit on the side” while other kids get to make one. The kit came with the house, the frosting ingredients pre packed (very easy to mix the frosting and follow the directions), and a few small essentials (trees, snowman, candy cane, etc. plastic pieces for the home)! The directions came with the kit as well to help us build it. We all loved it and enjoyed it together as a family. I will definitely order from here again!

I cannot eat dairy, and was nervous that for my wedding day I would just not be eating my own cake. However, we found sensitive sweets and it was life changing! They made us the most incredible wedding cake, and a bunch of mini cupcakes for our guest. Everyone LOVED it. No one would have even guessed that it was vegan. I am so thankful that Sensitive Sweets saved the day. Melanie was prompt in responding to us, and the cake arrived right when she promised. Thank you, Melanie!
