Chantili's

It was about 5 years ago when I stopped in. Ran into some very rude people and had an entirely mediocre dinner for the price point. It was very disappointing. Fast forward to today. On a suggestion to try the new salad bar, we stopped in for lunch. I had no idea that the place was remodeled. It looks great. But, on a food review, that is not as important as the food. The Salad Bar. Yes, I capitalized those two words because this is not just an ordinary salad bar. It is THE Salad Bar. So many ingredients to choose from, presented wonderfully with an attention to cleanliness around the food items. There is nothing worse than going to the salad bar and getting the impression someone was having a seizure over the top of it with stuff spilled everywhere. Chappel's Salad Bar was impeccably fresh. Certainly my wife and I will be returning often, and, with the kids. We have eaten out at many different places and this Southwest restaurant rivals anything in Fort Wayne. Even better than the well established salad bar up north (for those in the know, you know who I speak of.) Make this a stop, especially if you have not been there for over a year.

I frequently visit Chantili’s and I have never done a review. I have a somewhat trained palette having growing up in a home with my mom being a chef. I love steak and seafood so last night I gave the surf & turf a try and they had this incredible sauce on its that was amazing. I really wish I could post a picture of it. I think it’s the first time I have ever taken a picture of my dinner at a restaurant. See you again soon.

Stopped in with wife for nightcap as we noticed the name change. First off, relax the salad bar still awesome. Seems they added staff and everyone seemed pretty upbeat. Chatted with customers dinning there that I know and they said food is same great taste. The Menu is expanded from Chappell's. We did not have dinner but will as we always enjoyed Chappell's. Cocktails were great!

This place deserves zero stars. Went Saturday night with a party of 12. Food took over one hour to deliver to table. When it did come, only 3 to 4 meals received at a time. Most food cold. Owner came to table to tell us one of the items wasn't available after placing the order one hour prior. The response of the owner when complaint was voiced was verbatim "I really don't care whether you were happy or not". Don't waste your time with the overpriced meals and the hateful new owner.

Had dinner there last week! Service was poor had the salad bar. Went to the salad bar it was messy. Field lettuce was a little soggy. Waitress was joking around with us and didn't come by to fill our drinks. Not trained at all. Very very poor service! Very disappointed that this place has gone down hill since my last visit.
