Bob Evans

Tried to eat here. Thought I was going to have a table of 8. Sat here about 35 minutes which is totally my fault not Bob Evans. Waitress occasionally checked to see if I had a update on a number of people coming which was good. Very attentive. Friends couldn’t make it so my parents, siblings and I got seated for 20 minutes and no one took our order. Made eye contact with multiple staff while we were seated still no order taken. a waitress was complaining to a guy who works there “when you sit someone down you have to let the waiter/waitress know” the same girl who sat us down yet ignored my table. Left 30 minutes later. You’ll get ignored here. Happened to another table too.

10:10am. The entry area was empty. There were no hostess to greet and seat. There were plenty of dirty tables waiting to be bussed! WE SHOULD OF LEFT! 10:15am. We found a table. No hostess to greet and seat. We sat ourselves! 10:25am. We got our own menus. Aha! A waitress questioned us about seating ourselves. Yes, we did because no one was around! She promptly told us to leave! 10:30 am Indeed, she came back and told us to leave because there was a wait list of people that needed to be seated 1st. My husband and I promptly got up to leave. That's when the hostess suddenly appears and said she never saw us arrive. If she was at her post she would have seen us arrive to an empty entrance with no hostess! We left quietly and will never ever again patronize Bob Evans Restaurant on Maysville Road, Fort Wayne, IN. We called the restaurant and was placed on a rather long hold! Very interesting? We called again at 11:45am and was promptly answered by a kind gentleman who apologized to us by the poor service or no service we experience and said we should have been waited on, not told to leave and state there were 5 waitstaff and 2 hostess that worked the morning shift. I told him that unfortunately for Bob Evans, I was a reviewer and he told me to write this review of our experience. He inquired about which hostess and waitress was involved and said he would take care of them and apologized again!

Ordered the Homestead Farmer which comes with the sausage gravy and biscuits, two cooked eggs, choice of meat, choice pf potatoes, and choice of bread. Well, no biscuits were included with the sausage gravy and it doesn't go well with banana nut bread at all. 10 min wait on phone shows they have NO interest in customer service. We definitely will not visit this location and will look forward to this location closing soon. UPDATE: Received email of apologies and action to have a gift card mailed to me. However, no future actions have come, along with no gift card. This is the customer service you get: charge you for items, but not guve you the full items that you ordered and keep your money.

We always come here on Sundays and if you go early enough before all the church people come, you can usually get right in. The food never disappoints and is always very filling. The breakfast is classic country style and always delicious. The staff is very courteous, friendly and the food always comes out hot and fast.

Online order told me pick up time. I showed up and waited 25 minutes past that time before they even acknowledged me after 3 different employees avoided eye contact with me I spoke up and interrupted one to ask when I could expect my order. 20 more minutes. If they needed an hour and 15 minutes when I placed my order fine but don't waste my time. Asked for a refund but they couldn't do that. I have to file a complaint for that with corporate? Poor manager who should be stepping in and speaking with all the people waiting on carryout instead of just avoiding them until they are upset. It's called customer service and that's how you make your money. Second time this happened to my family. We used to go here a lot but will be taking our business elsewhere. Can't sit around for hours waiting on cold mediocre food.
