Delicious, fresh veal Parmigiana. I wouldn't recommend the salad at an extra cost (very plain salad) but the penne and fresh bread is excellent.

Incredible Italian food! We dined in one evening and it was one of the best dinners we've had in awhile. I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka with blackened chicken while my girlfriend ordered Lobster Ravioli. Both dishes were 5/5 stars. We'll definitely return. A few days later we had a pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks delivered, which were good, but not nearly as delicious as the pasta dishes we ordered in house. I think customers expect an Italian place to offer pizza delivery. This isn't a "take out" place.

Absolutely delicious!! Excellent service by Jeff who never missed a beat and ran his tail off. We had appetizers and all 5 of us a different dinner choice, amazingly everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly. Going out with my parents isn't easy because they ways find something to complain about but not tonight. They loved everything!!! Thank you! We'll be back!!

Driving home from key west hungry and craving Italian food we found Citrola’s online and after reading all their reviews we stopped for a bite to eat. They didn’t disappoint us at all ! Waitress was excellent , food portions were huge , food was delicious ! We will definitely be back soon ! My husband and sis is in law got the veal and I got the egg plant.. I never finish my meal but it was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating ..I would suggest everyone to give them a try ...you won’t be disappointed ...

The food was delicious. Love their eggplant parm. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is a small place and can be very noisy. Does not bother me but others may not like that. We will definitely go back. Very good Italian food! Service was also great.

Italian done well. I have been to this resturaunt several times. The food is very consistent and prepared well. I have had the spaghetti and the eggplant parmesan, but I really go for the pizza. The lunch special is great. Two slices and a salad are more than I need but I get it anyways. The slices are large but not obnoxious. A great tasting dough makes up the crispy thin crust true to a New York slice. Quality, balanced sauce and mozzarella top that crust and can be finished of with a selection of extras for .25 each. The house salad is fresh and I recommend the balsamic dressing. The dining area is small, but a great atmosphere and pretty cool decor. The wait staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Great pizza pick up spot or dine in for Italian.

Great pizza! Service was excellent and the ambiance was quiet and had a private feel to it. GREAT pizza!!!! Everything had superb flavor and we would visit again!
Tables are cool, made from wine corks and barrels!

Citrola's Italian Grill & Pizzeria, College Pkwy, Ft.Myers,FL., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.<br/><br/>Ahhh this is an ole fashion type of Italian eatery.<br/><br/>I got in house made bread with butter, free,as a precursor to my meal of lasagna.<br/><br/>This use to be the standard of ALL restaurant in days gone past.<br/><br/>I have had lasagna in three different places. All within the last 2 weeks.<br/><br/>And basically they really all tasted the same. (just like re fried beans in Mexican eateries).<br/><br/>The difference is the type of meat and noodle inside. So lasagna is like a pizza a personal choice.<br/><br/>I like this one the best. Well, balance enough garlic lots of flavor.<br/><br/>I also spurge and got a pepperoni/mushroom pie. It was a thin crust very good. BUT I thought they were very cheap in adding the mushroom. Not very many.<br/><br/>Service, by Margot was excellent. Staff in general were great.<br/><br/>Note: parking can be tight. The lot is small.<br/><br/>But worth the trip.

Wife and I were very pleased. Ordered chicken Marsala and veal parm with the signature zeppi desert thingy. The desert was amazing. The Marsala was excellent. The parm was saucier than I usually like but still good. Would go back for sure.

My first time ordering margarita pizza from Citrolas. Definitely not the best margarita pizza, not enough fresh mozzarella, not enough basil, tasteless sauce.<br/>Really think they can do better, for $20.00 this was very cheap on taste. I will say the best part of the pizza was the crust. Basil is not that expensive and I couldn't hardly taste any basil, thats what really makes this type of pizza. Will not order that again.

Wine. Be careful if you buy wine at this restaurant. The waitress brought out a bottle that had already been opened and when I brought this to the attention of the owner she did not believe me. The food was great but I paid $35.00 for a bottle of two buck chuck.

Comfort food!. Nice place to go. Food was really good. Very laid back atmospher. Decor was very interesting and added to the experience. Loved the lights. If you are looking for a neighbourhood Italian bistro this it. Staff is very friendly and had good recommendations for dinner. Can't wait to go back with our kids and family when when we are in town.

We were so excited to read about a good restaurant that we could try while visiting Ft. myer's for a few days. Unfortunately, in my opinion,Citrola does not live up to it's reviews. As we walked into order, someone was calling about stuff that they saw on the website but I guess isn't in your actual menu. The service was mediocre however the atmosphere (outside) is apparently why people come. And the food was okay, not sure if it's worth going out of your way for. We'll try again and see if we came on an off day.

Good food, Service eh. Love the pizza, not crazy about the service. I have caught some attitude both times I have been in there. They seem to be impatient with customers. I was simply ordering a pizza to go, they gave me a price on the phone that was 3.00 less than what they charged me when I got there. When I asked them about it a gentlemen claimed to have given me the wrong price and said he made a mistake. I had no problem paying for the pizza. But then the lady next to him said oh you didn't make a mistake, the customer was confused. Strange how small startup resturaunts give no mind to customer service. Still the food rocks. Guess there is a little give and take in the world.

Just AWESOME. The best Italian restaurant I have been to in a long time. A great family restaurant with warm and caring staff. Food is outstanding and great tasting. If your in Ft.Myers Florida I recommend stopping having a bite.

Fine Dining. Our Dining experience at Citrola's was nothing less than outstanding. Their pizza is really great and their PASTA dishes are mouth watering. If you are inti Italian dining this the place for you. The owners are a young couple and they are really nice.

PizzaSnob. This is by far the best pizza in town! Coming from the NE we know our pizza - thin crust with the best ingredients. Of course the rest of the menu is just as good - the Philly's are amazing and if you're looking for dinner the marsala's and parms are awesome. The staff is super friendly and mostly family. Try it you're sure to become a regular.

The Best Pizza and Italian in town. If your looking for the best new york style pizza in fort myers this is the place. being from new york it has been very hard to find good pizza and italian food until I came upon Citrola's, finaly after 9 years there is a great place to get pizza and italian food just like home, the service is great and the food is out of this world good.

Smallest little UPSCALE in town!. This restaurant is so goooood! This place is where Salvatores Pizza was, in the Bagal Factory Plaza. They have a lunch and dinner menu with some delicious meal on the dinner menu! These guys have been on Fort Myers Beach (and still are) since 1993, so they know a thing or two about the business! Their food is fantastic, their bread is to die for and the philly cheesesteaks are better than Philly itself!!!! if you don't believe me, just try one yourself! Oh, and don't forget to end your meal with a bag of zeppoli's! They are soooooooo addicting, you can't eat just one! If you are looking for real NY style pizza, this is the closest you are going to get! TRUST ME!!!!
