Manna Cafe

I love when we mix cultures. Food taste better and people appreciate each other more. While Manna Cafe is a Chinese oriented Shop, don't discount them for only serving Chinese food. They're Asian Fusion. The interior of this place is vibrant with light toned neon colors that aren't distracting but quite appealing. It isn't a restaurant bent on putting out as many tables and seats, so you never feel claustrophobic. It's small, but not small enough to hear every one but yourself. The place is not elegant, nor is it a youth only place but that is what it looks like it tries to be. It is however a great place to have a nice meal. The menu has many items, but going back to my opening statement, I would recommend the Baked rice chicken with Portuguese sauce. The dish is quite large and very filling. The sauce is just amazing and it's typed off with shreds of coconut. The chicken is slightly fried and not crunchy but just right. For you sweet tooth folks, go for a dessert, either a smoothie or a waffle sundae. Every meal is served with a soft tea and really helps cleanse the palette. The service is amazing. The food comes within 5 to 10 minutes and the waitresses are extremely patient and helpful. They are also bilingual. Now, just because it's in the corner of an uncommon, untraveled area of Flushing that is only known to Hand Ball players and B Ball players, it shouldn't deter you from coming.
