1285 Restobar

Pepperoni pizza, garlic cheese bread, and dinner salad were phenomenal!! Service was outstanding! Now that we have found the absolute best Pepperoni pizza on the coast we will be back! Well worth the drive from CoosBay/ North Bend!! We visited on a Sunday afternoon after attending a play at the Events Center.

I discovered this place several years ago and I now try to stop in whenever I find myself in Florence. The place is super cute, and the food is great; I've made a point of ordering something different every time I've gone, and it's all been fantastic. We went fairly early in the evening in hopes of beating the dinner rush, but it was already pretty crowded (my one minor complaint has always been that, as a small building, it does get kind of loud if it's full, unless you manage to get seated outside or in the back room). Still, the food was delicious, as always; I tried the herb-encrusted halibut this time and it did not disappoint. All of my previous experiences have been a solid 5 stars. My one complaint about this particular trip, however (and the reason I docked a star from this review) is that there was an extremely loud woman at the bar, which only added to the already-loud environment. Not sure if she'd had too much to drink or what, but she was nearly shouting during normal conversation. I was wishing management might ask her to tone things down a bit, as I could tell several other customers were also disturbed/annoyed by her behavior. Eventually she left, and the rest of the dining experience was much more pleasant. Just something to look out for, I guess, since this place does include a full-service bar as well.

I ordered the five cheese truffle mac and found it to be delicious. My partner ordered the lasagna with a side of mashed potatoes. We were happy with our meal. Also the bread they gave us slapped. I almost asked if we could have more but didn't want to pay. Food is on the pricier side. You can get the mac and cheese without the truffle oil. My friend did this and when I tried hers I thought it tasted better, cheesier, even though when I was eating mine I didn't really detect the impact of the truffle oil. So if I were to return I'd probably order the mac sans oil. Overall a great restaurant and would recommend to anyone in Florence.

Walking down the street looking for food and found 1285 Restobar, overall awesome food. Very happy we stopped for lunch here. Sat outside on the sidewalk and it was a great place to sit and eat. Service was great and the staff was fantastic. I feel they were very engaged and helping us have a good experience. Great options for food. The past and the sauces were very good, I highly recommend the pasta dishes. Everything looked good and it was very hard to pick. The crab cakes were awesome and the highlight of our meal.

Food was very good. Service was good. Atmosphere outside on a sunny day was very nice as well. My only complaint was for 30 bucks for salmon And broccoli the portion seemed very small. I also got the avocado burger with some modifications which was great. Overall a great experience. The mango dressing was amazing!
