We managed to eat there today due to someone else cancelling ( booking in advance essential ). We had hearty meals of steak pie and cottage pie followed by apple and rhubarb crumble. The food was absolutely superb, fantastic value and served up by very friendly hosts. A real gem.

We had heard many a great thing about Copperfields but never tried it until this weekend. All the great things you have heard..... All completely true. The cafe itself is very unassuming and it's almost a blink and you miss it sort of place …
What a hidden gem of a place. Service and food second to none and excetional value for money. Make sure you book well in advance to get a table for the date of your choice. Thoroughly recommend, we'll be back soon.
