Had a burger here. Place was really busy! 16 beers on tap was a great sign. Given that the burger should be a staple in any good pub, it was a bit disappointing that this burger was more a miss than hit. The patty was dry and completely overcooked. Fries were tasty but again a bit overseasoned. Having said all this, the steak which the person sitting next to me was eating looked a perfect medium rare. Food envy

Traditional inner city pub with good bar menu and range of beers on tap. Beef pie was excellent and partner enjoyed the mushroom burger. Chips were crunchy and had a tasty seasoning. Staff friendly and exposed brick gives a unique interior that is still quite bright with plenty of windows

Great pub! Friendly staff and all the beers, ciders or seltzers you could wish for on tap. All the meals I've had here have been delicious. Highly recommend the mushroom burger. Trivia with Simon is the best!

Great little pub nestled in the backstreets of Fitzroy. Easy going staff, classic menu that changes pretty often, and a good selection of beers on tap. Perfect place for a cheeky afternoon beer and a roast on Sunday!

What a waste. Booked for 4 people and when we got there the table was only setup for 3. When we asked the staff they said they were fully booked and couldn’t help. Ended up leaving and taking our business to somewhere with actually friendly staff and great food. Too many pubs in the area to waste your time with this one!

A great local pub, with an excellent range of beers. The Moon Dog - Mac Daddy dark ale is worth the visit. Not to mention the food. Nachos with Chilli Con Carne was excellent, and my friends Texan style slow smoked Brisket was five out of five.
Definitely worth a visit!

We were seated in a separate room adjoining the bar area. Lively atmosphere for a Saturday lunch. Good food. Good service. Friendly helpful staff.
