Est in 1986 and still going strong. Great coffee and excellent service. What more do you want? Bloody good breakfast? I had the smashed peas and they were sensational. The peas were warm, poached eggs perfect and the OJ was freshly squeezed. Heaven. And getting a car park was so easy on a Sunday morning. Will definitely come back soon

Spaghetti mussels and 'Apple rhubarb and blueberry crumble with vanilla cream' was amazing! Great service from Andy that made the whole experience entertaining. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by or living nearby.

Beautiful Italian restaurant with amazing food!! The pasta was delicious and the liver entrée is a must-try!

My review is about their breakfast only. I ordered from the menu eggs Benedict , in accordance with it they should have been served with the bearnaise sauce , instead I received hollandaise. Why not to update the menu? Do they know the difference ? The presentation did not look exciting at all. Also it happened to me first time in a cafe , that poached eggs were over cooked.

Great family style Italian dining in a good location.
My friend and I really enjoyed eating at Mario’s!
The mussel pasta was delectable and well balanced. Also, it was clearly made with good quality mussels.
My friends pesto was rich and creamy in the right kind of way.
We enjoyed a glass of red, and the service was notably good 🥰.

Love Mario’s on Brunswick street, old school charm and service with fantastic food. The Penne Amatraciana one of the best over ever had, spicy tomato pancetta sauce with an earthy chilli undertone.

Incredible. The spaghetti with mussels and the polenta chips are outstanding. The customer service is also wonderful. Have been here a number of times and will continue to come back time and time again!
