Cracker Barrel

I went out to eat with my family for Father's Day. It was my first time going to Cracker Barrel in general. I loved my dining experience, the food was great. We were seated right away. The waiter was very nice. They had a store in the front before walking into the restaurant. The store was nice, had alot of cool things from kids toys to clothing, jewelry, etc. It was a nice place, definitely would go back & recommend.

Very nice country setting chain restaurant store located within a mile from the Route 9 Fishkill, NY Exit off of Interstate 84. Establishment is clean, staff was friendly, and food was very good. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Family Meal Box to go. Meal comes with 2 sides, buttermilk biscuits various chosen condiments and utensils. My only complaint/suggestion for the company is to update their online order capabilities. I wanted to order online and utilize curb side pick-up at the store. I tried to place my order online by using a Cracker Barrel Gift Card. There is no option to place your order online unless you prepay with the use of a credit card. I actually called their Headquarters in Tennessee because I thought I was doing something wrong. They confirmed that you cannot purchase anything online with their gift card. I feel if the company sells their own gift cards you should be able to use them for online purchases.

So we love going to Cracker Barrel and have eaten at many in several states. The Fishkill NY store is the one we frequent most. Always clean and friendly. This time while the service was great the food was less than enjoyable. I ordered French toast and it was hard as a rock and my plate had a chunk missing from it. I didn't complain and proceeded to eat my husband's chicken fried chicken since he had plenty. We will still go to Cracker Barrel but I won't order the French toast again.

I always love cracker barrel every time I come. They have such great decor and I love the store in front of the restaurant. My daughter and I went out for lunch. Had a little mom and daughter time. She had the kids sliders and I had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and it was all delicious and very filling. I did not end up taking pictures but everything looked great and tasted great and it's definitely worth going to.
