Blue Nile

I heard so many good things about this place from family and family friends alike, I expected a good experience. But I got far from that, they made us wait 1 hour & 15m to even take our order, by the time we got the food it was pushing the 2 hour mark. Then they multiply the price of the food based on how many people your sitting with, they clearly want you to come here alone and eat your food by yourself. The price of the food on soley based on party size & not portion. I nearly wheezed after eating this food, I walked out of this place extremely sick and Un-easy. On food looked pretty authentic, but the after effect had me feeling sick.

This was first time here and I will definitely come back. They have a hand wash station right at the front door and gave out hot steamed towels before your meal. I felt that safety was important to the owners. This is important because the meal is meant to be eaten with your hands. The lamb was tender and delicious. The other member of our table was a vegetarian and he enjoyed the veggie selection. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

My friends, my family and I have been enjoying the delicious food @ The Blue Nile for over 15 years now and the food and the atmosphere and the owners are always amazing and welcoming. Never had a bad experience there. The owners are husband and wife and they love talking about Ethiopia and all the beauty and culture of their home. 🇪🇹 The restaurant is filled with the music, the scent of the delicious food and the colors of Ethiopia. You feel as if you’re actually there.🇪🇹
