Andiamo

I don’t often give 5 stars as usually not everything was perfect. But it was last night when we celebrated our anniversary. Of course the food was awesome but what really made the evening (besides the company) were our servers. Deborah and her trainee Mia were great. I love when a service can engage you in conversation without being forced or awkward. They were just wonderful.

The power went out when we first arrive so they couldn't seat us for our reservation. Luckily it came right back on within a few minutes and we were able to be seated. Everything was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was great. We had everything from appetizers to desert and everything was fabulous. Presentation was top notch.. They even brought us a complimentary canoli because it was out Anniversary dinner... so sweet!

We visited your lovely restaurant on 2/12/2022. I give this experience a 3 because, though the restaurant is lovely, I found the waitress to be very pushy, she acted as an advertiser not a waitress. Pushing the most expensive dinners. I wanted an honest opinion regarding what meal I should choose. I didn’t get that….guess I should have read reviews instead of relying on my advertising waitress. Also, As dinner came out she walked away from full hot trays of “our food” to take an order at another table. I could not believe what I was seeing. I used to wait tables in Frankenmuth when I was in my 20’s and I had to earn my Tips. For this poor service I was forced to pay 34.69$ as a tip. I was not happy. I am a professional who expects exceptional service especially at a place like Andiamo. I am truly disappointed. Last thoughts, sound deadened might help the acoustics, it felt like we were in a cafeteria.

I wanted to give a big shout out and a huge thank you to the staff our server and the management at Andiamos in Fenton. We just celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday celebration. We had a table for 10. Everything was absolutely amazing, perfect in every way. From allowing me to do some decorations prior to through the rest of the evening. The food was awesome, everyone had a great time. Andiamos even helped me arrange a gluten-free birthday cake for the occasion which was out of this world! We really love this restaurant, it’s the first time that we had a large group and Andiamos made this evening so special for us. Thank you to everyone! Highly recommended for food, wine, atmosphere and service.

The food was very good. I recently went to a vegan diet, the wait staff was willing to work with me to find a menu item that met my needs. After a couple trips to the kitchen, the waiter I was able to determine which items on the menu I could order for my vegan diet. I ended up with a nice salad, bread that had no egg in it, and pasta with marinara sauce. It was a delicious meal. And I was glad the staff was willing to accommodate a vegan diet person. The food was delicious. No dessert of course but that's okay. I like to keep it healthy.

The ambiance of this restaurant makes you feel like you're in a royal location. The atmosphere is very upscale and food is delicious. Happy hour is a great time to go for the fun spot, so busy that the bartender didn't have time to check on us at out bar table. During happy hour there are a few appetizers on special but not very many benefits, so if you can't get there during this hour, you're not missing much. One thing I wish they would change is the location of the front door. The door is located on a busy street and not near the parking lot. Please relocate the entrance to make it more convenient for everyone.

Service(Ava) and the specialty cocktails were excellent. Unfortunately for us, entree food was only average. Salads and rice balls were the highlight. Beef tips linguini, spaghetti w/meat sauce and alfredo lacked that wow factor everyone recommends it for. They did acknowledge our anniversary which was nice!

Amazing food and fantastic service!!! Every last morsel of food served was soooo delicious! We were celebrating a couple birthdays, and were treated like royalty, even receiving a special dessert treat for our birthdays. They were even kind enough to tolerate our elevated volume and slightly rowdy behavior, which often happens when I get my kids together. We will certainly be going back, and we won't wait for the next birthday to do it! Love, love, love this place!!!
