The Fenton House

Okay so I haven't been posting recently because I haven't really been having great experiences but tonight changed that. The Fenton house is a place you would never think could provide this kind of quality! Let me start off by giving a big shout out to Ricardo V. Our server for the evening he took care of our 13 top with the ease and individual attention of a solo dining experience, the food was great, but the service really made it, I highly recommend the Italian trio, the breadsticks are to die for be sure to stop in and see Ricardo next time you are in town.

We had a children's 6th birthday party in the back arcade room. It was the best party we've ever hosted. Had the room all to ourselves, the kids had an absolute blast playing all the games. The food was soo good, wait staff attentive and very helpful. Even the owner checked on us a few times to make sure we were taken care of. Breadsticks are to die for!

Fantastic family setting. Great service and wide variety of Italian style food. The breadsticks are fantastic. I had the salmon and enjoyed it all. The servings are generous and the prices are fair. They have a large arcade room which is perfect for some extra family fun. Their takeout option is great as well

Needs a good cleaning!! I realize times have been hard for restaurants and help is scarce but with COVID concerns cleanliness should be a priority! The cloth on the chair seats is filthy and the chairs are wobbly. .The salt and pepper shakers were crusty and greasy and felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in forever. It is a popular spot for families which makes this even more of a concern. Lots of birthday celebrations and their big attraction is the game room. As to the food, we ordered Margaritas and the mix was sour. The rest of our food was average and our waitress was nice. I gave it two stars based on this.

So the breadsticks were good. Wait staff is fine. But if you like reheated frozen meals for over 10 dollars that come out lukewarm to your table, this is THE place for you! My biggest gripe however was, the food was incredibly.... incredibly similar. I went with 3 other people and we all got something different. They were all the same thing. For example, if you get stuffed shells, it's the same thing as the ravioli. All of of pasta dishes are stuffed with ricotta and piled with cheese at different prices. The bathrooms had a peculiar odor. The alcoholic drinks are expensive and not worth the price.

Stopped in for lunch the other day and was in and out in about 30 minutes or so. Got sat immediately and the server was quick and very polite. Had a French Dip and fries. Was very, very good! The sammich was big enough that I had to finish half of it the next day for lunch. The Mrs. had a burger that was big enough that I had to help her finish it. And it, too, was very good! Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.
