Steak 'n Shake

I went to grab some early lunch for my family at 11a, which I can understand it being a bit early, but since I saw the lights on inside the restaurant as I was pulling up, I figured the drive thru should be open right? Wrong. I sat there for almost 30 minutes waiting, but no one ever came to move the cone, nor was there a sign showing hours. I even called inside twice, which no one answered, so I left. I can understand if there's a worker shortage or the hours have changed, but a sign on the cone or even the front door would have been helpful.

We ordered our food and once we got it, we parked to double check that we had everything. We realized we were missing two small fries, and we pulled back thru the drive thru to get the rest of our order. The manager came on speaker and we quite rude. When I could hear him ask me to pull forward I politely asked him to repeat what he said. He then yelled through the speaker to pull forward. When I got to the window he persisted that everything was in the bag because he packed it himself. I showed him the receipt and reiterated that the two small fries were missing. As he finally gave me the fries he was still rude the entire time. I would not go here again, customer service was absolutely terrible. I'd give no stars if I could.

Went they the drive thru on my lunch hour, took 20 minutes to get to speaker and order (only 3 cars in front of me). Go around corner to pay at window an after paying took 15 minutes to get my food. Terrible service. Fries were cold. Didn’t even feel like I had a burger patty on my cheeseburger! It has gone way downhill in the last year!!

Do yourself a favor and drive the extra couple of miles to the sugar creek location. Seriously steak n shake, how do you forget to put half of the food in my bag. It's super awesome that I get to go without dinner tonight. Horrible service, and the food was not good. The meat was pink inside the burger and seems that no salt on fries translates to extra salt.

These new owners seem to be going out of their way to fail. It’s a great location, but they are never open! Supposedly they stay open until 8:00 pm (and the website showed as still open), but last night there was a line of cars in the drive-thru lane at 7:30. No note on the speaker that they closed early, but it eventually became obvious they were gone for the day. This is the second time this has happened in the past month. I tried calling today at 11:30 am, and they hung up twice without answering. PLEASE SELL THE RESTAURANT TO SOMEONE WHO CARES!!
