Koi Palace

Koi Palace is a decent place of you're in a hurry or just want a variety of Chinese food. As a lot of reviews here say, the food isn't that hot and is somewhat bland. However, the atmosphere and staff there are great. Very friendly and clean. I would recommend this place, but only to those who want quick meals.

HORRIBLE! ***WISH THERE WAS A HALF STAR RATING.*** because I would use it........ Food was cold. Everything needed refilled on the bar..... AND THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON US!!! because they would not accept their {not expired} coupon. It was for: buy one adult buffet and get another free with purchase of 2 drinks. They told me it was printed wrong and that I had to pay for one and get one HALF price. I told them it is a shame that the coupon is printed wrong. But it is not my problem. Then the littlest oriental person I have ever seen, girl/boy (still not sure), screamed at me ARE YOU BLIND? because apparently, they have a small sign posted at the check out (after you eat, you would MAYBE see it, if you were tying your kids shoe) and the sign read, that the coupons were printed wrong. I reciprocated the scream and said "NO I AM NOT BLIND, BECAUSE I SEEN BOTH THE BOGO AND THE HALF OFF COUPON IN THE MAGAZINE AND THIS IS THE ONE I CHOOSE! I refused to pay more than the coupon said...... . and then they called the cops. However, when I said "lets call the cops! I have no problem turning you in for bait and switch practices!" So then magically..... while we waiting for the police, they change their mind and cashed us out for the BOGO PRICE....... with the receipt in hand, we left the building and sure enough, the police were pulling in. We told them what had happen and showed them the receipt (which he didn't seem to need/want to see.) Officers went inside to answer the VERBAL ARGUMENT CALL they received. THE POLICE came back out side and said "THANKS FOR WAITING AROUND FOLKS AND HAVE A NICE NIGHT." We told the officers to stay safe and left. ....I really feel sorry for the people who would be intimidated by THESE people. The money they make from bait and switch procedures is probably astronomical. I will be leaving a review of my experience on Google reviews and YELP for everyone to see .... I win twice: BOGO PRICE and get THE FINAL WORD!
