On The Mark

This place is absolutely amazing. They have darts pool most of all they have foosball! The owner is such an amazing guy and goes out of his way to make sure that everybody is having a good time everybody has anything they need. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly great food stiff drinks and sports! Wednesdays are the main nights for foosball! Everyone needs to check them out and see how the warm friendly family atmosphere is!

8 or so years ago, me and my guy would go here 3 or more times a week. We basically fell in love at this bar playing pool. Fast forward, now we are married living in Utah. On our vacation we took to Fayetteville, we decided to fill our days with nostalgic dates and adventures from our past, which would obviously include going to On The Mark. I was asked for my ID, which is fine because laws are laws. The bartender (she was a shorter brown haired woman) refused my ID saying that it was too flimsy to accept. I asked her to scan it, because most bars have scanners. They don't have one, so okay. She refused to serve me. I do not look 21 as Im much older, and I was flabbergasted that she refused to serve me because my out of state ID wasn't the correct texture for her liking. The way she spoke with me wasn't the kindest or most professional, either. I just wish this bar would have continued to be a beautiful memor. Unfortunately, after this experience I wouldn't suggest going here for mere lack of service. You're just another mediocre dive bar with unfortunate bartenders.
