Teaberry

This was my first time to Teaberry and it was a pleasant experience. The store had a serene feel with decor to match. The menu was far more extensive than I imagined and I was able to get a smoothie without the pearls, which was nice. The gal at the front had a great attitude, very friendly and helpful. The smoothie itself was delicious. Fresh and and refreshing. I was also happy to see that I could add protein to my drink. The only negative comment that I can make is the order did take a little bit longer than I anticipated, but it was fine. I'd be happy to check out this place again. The store was practicing CDC guidelines so some of the amenities weren't available, but it looks like a fun place to hangout with lots of games available to use (pre-covid).

The younger Asian lady with a pony tail at the counter was extremely rude. It was my first time at this establishment, however it was not my first time trying bubble teas. I frequent bigger establishments ie: yi fang, quicklys, ding tea, and wanted to support this locally owned establishment. I ordered a “thai tea,” where she proceeded to catch an attitude and puffed and asked me to speak up. I then ordered a “taro tea,” where she raised her voice and said “which one?” As She tapped the menu and rolled her eyes. I then sat down to wait for my order as I saw her go up to the guy in the back and was complaining about me not knowing what tea I wanted. I know these are trying times for small businesses, but her unnecessary attitude made this experience an unpleasant one. Due to the lack of professionalism, I will not be frequenting this establishment. PS: The Thai milk tea was decent (not too sweet/bitter) and the taro milk tea had more of a subtle taro flavor.

The few times I have been to Teaberry have been great experiences. Very kind and patient staff when figuring out my order and also very knowledgeable of the different drinks available and explanations of them. It has always been nice and clean, the bathrooms as well. The tabletops are so smooth and shiny! Have variety of seating options-booth, table, high top bar chairs at the counter and two tables at the front with unique seating.
