Went for breakfast and overall was lovely. Had the Amanzi breakfast with amazing bacon and spicy veg but the star of the show were the “sad chips” (which were all but sad rather ironically). Had that with the roosterkoek which was ok but not sure if it was worth the extra £5. Overall it was a really great breakfast with nice service and would love to come back for dinner

What a perfect find. We were just walking past on a rainy Tuesday lunchtime and decided to pop in for a quick drink. This turned out to be a cream tea.. yes in an African restaurant but it was so nice, one of the best finds to date and the staff were so pleasant. Well done we will definitely be back next time we are in Falmouth.

Great experience overall. Being a Saffa visiting Cornwall, Amanzi crossed our path by surprise and was so worth it.
Great food, brilliant service, well decorated restaurant with all themes Southern Africa.
When back in Cornwall, definitely our first stop.
Thank you Amanzi! 🇿🇦😁

What a lovely warm reception we were given at Amanzi tonight. We were looking forward to trying the restaurant after reading great reviews and we were not disappointed. It was difficult to choose - but we eventually settled on ribs and the ostrich sosatie. We'd recommend both!
Our compliments to the chef, because the ostrich, which is a lean meat, wasn't overcooked or dry. The meat chunks were a good size and had been seared well on the braai, with apricot and bacon between. The pork ribs fell off the bone and had a delicious sweet, smokey sauce. Remember it's South African portions, so maybe arrive half starved. And don't forget to book.
We're so glad to have found Amanzi and it will definitely be an essential part of our Cornish holidays.

One of my dad’s favourite restaurants. We thought we would try breakfast. Sat on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Nice choice of breakfasts with a South African twist. Not disappointed and will definitely go back.

We sat out the back on the balcony and had a nice view of the harbour. I had the chicken and avocado burger for lunch, and a cocktail. There's plenty of activity and sounds around the harbour for atmosphere while you eat and drink. The staff were friendly and chatty.
