I can’t recommend this fish & chip shop enough. Easy wheelchair access, plenty of tables outside.
The food is cooked to order so was piping hot & absolutely delicious. I was told that the plaice was on the small side so received two pieces which was an added bonus.
The staff are very friendly which was lovely.

We were staying in the area and popped in to get a Saturday night takeaway. Scouted out a few fish and chip shops in the town but plumped for this one as looked very clean and organised and was very popular with locals! Lovely large piece of fish and good-sized portion of chips, not too greasy, just crisp enough 👍

I come all the way from Norwich just for Mr Chips’ chips! Food is always ready within minutes, sometimes seconds. Mr Chips himself always greets with “What would you like, young man?”. There is a small covered seating area outside with benches perfect for a sunny day and the shop is actually situated directly next to a public car park.

Fish and chips were very good. Only 4 stars due to dirty tables and lack of cutlery when eating in.

Huge pieces of fish. The fish wasn't anything great but tasted fine. The chips were good but I wanted the really dark colour fries and thinner.

Fantastic fish n chips here. The staff are friendly and even remember you after a year of not visiting. Amazing.
Great value. Chips are always perfect. Fish perfectly battered, with just enough crunch.
Definitely the best chip shop in Fakenham.
Huge selection of other items, if fish is not a favourite, try the large battered sausage, very tasty.
