Pho4ever

Ordered pickup/take out, so this doesn’t reflect dining in. Ordered a large beef pho and fresh summer rolls (shrimp, pork, lettuce, herbs, and cucumber all in a rice paper roll). The summer rolls were pretty bland and didn’t have any pork in them, which probably accounted for the missing flavor I was expecting. The greens were fresh though and dipping sauce was plentiful and tasty. The pho broth is very well salted but flavorful. The meats were well packaged and amount matched the cost ($12). All of the usual sides were included to-go A carry out charge is added for each item purchased, which seems ridiculous. I wasn’t told about it, it wasn’t until I got home that I saw it on my receipt. I could understand a flat amount for the order to account for the napkins and spoon, but $1 for an order of rolls is 20% of the cost of the actual rolls and then another $1 for the pho. And this is on top of tip. $24 for a single meal, take out, is steep The food is still pretty good though and my order was ready on time. Not sure I’ll be back frequently because of the missing pork and the upcharge. Small things but they add up

Can't believe it has been 2 years since I have eaten here. I am trying to support small businesses as much as I can, because I know I will miss them if they are gone. Time is tough for them, and if you can, eat out and please don't forget to tip. Large corporations have politicians helping them. Please support small businesses. 🥰 Carryout today and I ordered B11 which has spring rolls, grilled chicken and shrimp. Yummm... they have the nices menu... layout and quality of the paper. Their menu has many food and drink options . I love that it has lots of pictures. The customer services is superb!! The young man at the register was so nice!! I was going to get B10 which comes with pork instead of chicken. Because I picked it from the picture, I completely missed B11 with grilled chicken. I am so glad he mentioned it. I prefer chicken over pork or beef. They charged a 50 cents carryout charge. Its probably because of inflation and supply shortage... thanks to this administration! I need to come back more often to try the other dishes. The only complaint I have is.. picture showed 2 spring rolls but the description said 1 spring roll. I only got 1. My fault for not reading the text. They need to update the pic. 🙄 couldn't wait and ate the spring roll. It was very filling with lots of meat. I think it was. Chicken spring roll. It was different, and good too. But I prefer the pork ones. 😋 2 years ago...This is my first time eating at this restaurant. I am so impressed with the menu. It has some unique dishes and Chinese dishes in addition to Vietnamese dishes. There was so many dishes that I want to try, and I ended up ordering the Chicken Thigh Pho and the Grilled Shrimp Summer Rolls. The Grilled Shrimp Summer Rolls were delicious. The grilled flavor makes the Summer rolls more tasty. I prefer dark meat, and was happy to see that there are a thigh and a breast options for the Chicken Pho, and I believe the broth was also chicken. The broth was on the lighter side and doesn't have a lot of salt added, which is what I like. The service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, and attentive when it come to ensuring my water glass is filled. The restaurant is very clean and I like the updated look... definitely not a typical Asian restaurant. I look forward to coming back to try the other dishes.
