Saba Restaurant

We love to explore different cuisines. So, went to this Yemeni restaurant. Restaurant was clean and the staffs are also very kind and helpful. We ordered Mathlotha lamb, lamb stock soup and Basboussa. We didn’t like the soup but the Mathlotha was very delicious. The amount of food is also good. It was difficult for two of us to finish the whole dish. Their chatny was very fresh and yummy. We will come again and taste the other dishes.

Update 4/19: Still delicious and with a lovely staff. Great iftar buffet! I cannot say enough great things about the hospitality at this restaurant. I sent in an order from an app that shall not be named, which was not received by the restaurant. The serving staff at the restaurant hustled to make me my meal. While I waited, they served me tea complimentary. The food was excellent! The bread was the fluffiest, and the lentil soup hit the spot. The lamb was well seasoned and cooked so well, it melted in my mouth. I cannot wait to go back and try more food. I highly recommend this restaurant as a hidden gem.

I came Today to this place. The person on the cashier was so rude. He didn't welcome us ( and it is not big issue for me ) Tho most distressing thing was when he told US to stay on the right corner and he gave us the menu and said i will be with you shortly. I waited for 20 minutes and he didn't showed up. I went to the to him and i asked him should i order here and he reply where are you staying as if he did not know me even though the place was not busy! . I went back waited for 15 minutes and i noticed all people who came after Us were served before us. I told my friend that we have to leave. While we are leaving an old lady tried to convince us to stay but it was to late . I know that i should not judge the whole restaurant from this rude attitude but this message should go to owner. At the end Thanks to this place because after i left i went to Marib Restaurant. And if there is zero star i will chose it

First of all this is not a Mandi, but in the menue they says it is Mandi.. but Nooooooo, this is just a regular rice and chicken. Second, thier costumer service is not good, I asked them to give me a sample of Yellow Maraq(Soup) to see if that have a type of spices which I don't like, they refuesd that, and they charched me 5 dollars for a small bowl . Also, fir the tea price is very high. I do not recommend it if you want to eat Mandi. Note: I didn't see Yemenis staff there.
