Alta Strada

The food is pretty standard for Mosaic- just alright, nothing special. A lot of Italian places feel the same to me, it’s a bit hard to wow me with Italian food. It’s still pretty decent though and the staff was super friendly to us when we went. The calamari was pretty tasty, but the spaghetti I ordered was probably something I could have just made myself at home. If I were to come here again, I would try the chicken parm. I saw some pictures and it looks like a pretty big portion and very tasty. So overall, the food is just alright

My group of three got two appetizers-shrimp scampi and the mussels. I recommend trying the mussels! For the entree we got the Fettuccini, Margherita Pizza(no toppings), and the Penne allá vodka pasta! The portions were big enough to have a bit of leftovers. The pastas were good and the pizza bread center was thin while the crust was more on the softer side. The pizza was a bit salty for my taste but everything else was tasty!! *kitchen gave us garlic bread on the house :)

I CANNOT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS LOCATION THEY TREAT ME LIKE FAMILY. I am an avid strater and have been coming here every Wednesday for a few months now. Not sure why Wednesday but my favorite group of staff (EVAN,DIEGO, and BRIAN) seems to work this day. I’m not sure if it’s to see me but that’s what they make it feel like every time I come here. I have had the pleasure to get to know these individuals, and whether or not they knew I was having a bad day that day they always made my day a lot brighter. I always sit in the corner booth to the right and it’s even gotten to the point when I reserve on open table and walk in they have it reserved for me. How lucky could I be! I always order the Mimi’s meatballs for a starter and get the penne alla vodka add mushrooms red pepper flakes and shrimp. Trust me if you try this you won’t regret. I also add for extra sauce on the side because I like it saucy! I pair my meal with a recommended red wine usually a 2016-2017 red. I pair it with the tiramisu or the cannoli for dessert. I cannot forget my expression martini that’s one of my favorite parts, Diego actually recommended this item my first time and I have made it a staple every time. If you want a place you can come alone, and not feel alone or come with a group or a date. This is the place. I’ve done all three and they haven’t disappointed or made me feel like a burden. Thank you for making my days!

What an amazing place to eat for a Tuesday! The burrata with the garlic bread is phenomenal, best I had hands down, beer selection is top notch; the chicken Parmesan? Crispy and fresh, crust was superb, most of all the attention sitting outdoors was sublime. Water always refilled, when it got dark the server shined his light for us to view the menu, consistently and respectfully checked in on us; 10/10 would come back!
