Java Groove

Friendly Staff, Quaint Space, but my coffee was...really bad. Bitter, left a bad taste in my mouth, made my stomach hurt. It honestly just tasted like a bad roast of coffee beans. There are good beans out there (Middle State in Denver). Y'all can do better! I REALLY am craving a good coffee spot in Evergreen, I would frequent a lot if the quality was stepped up, but as for now I wont be back.

This place is a must stop in Evergreen 🌲. I found them on Tiktok and knew from how the owner talked about the town and his cafe it was going to be good. Well it was better than good. We had two breakfast sandwiches which were amazing and very filling and then two coffees. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly!

Great newer ownership. Super friendly staff. The coffee is finally good after years of bad, weak, & flavored beans 🤢. Purple Door is a great roaster. This place has meant a lot to my wife and I through the years - we’ve made important decisions here, read and relaxed, and brought our kids here. So grateful to have a good shop so close to home once again!

Staff seemed more interested in visiting with each other in the back than serving counter. Low enthusiasm which probably just bothers me. Most residents here don't seem concerned by this level of service. We don't get their coffee but they have reasonable desserts. Today we had their lemon cooler and death by chocolate cakes. Lemon was more fresh and pretty good. Chocolate was older and more dried. It probably is better when freshly made. Overall, worth a visit. It's quiet and less crowded than competitor down the street.
