A real life Kitchen Nightmare, this place has a chef who has lost his passion. 0 and 2 with gross dishes, and I actually felt physically sick after about 10 bites. 2 stars because the staff is very personable and kind, and even took my meal off our final check when I sent it back. Hope this place gets a revamp, the staff deserve it.

The place is not bad. It doesn't really have an atmosphere, no music, nothing. But its food was highly rated. I don't know if they had staff problems or what, but the service took YEARS! It seems to me that there was only one person in the kitchen and only one person tending the tables. If lack of staff was the problem I would not want to be unfair in saying that the place has poor service per ce. The food is indeed very good, all the dishes that were ordered were very tasty and very abundant. The entrees were also very tasty. In general terms the experience was good. Yes, I would return to the place for its food but not at all for its service. They definitely need to hire more staff.

Abbondanza is spot on! Just moved to the neighborhood and found this Italian gem. The food is delicious and fresh, service was so friendly. Location is convenient and easy to get to without having to head into the city. Love the weekend specials... Chilean Sea bass with spinach risotto was EXCELLENT. Excited to make Abbondanza a weekly treat...

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary on a Saturday afternoon. There were about ten other people in the restaurant. I ordered Fruitti di Mare and my wife ordered stuffed veal chop and a glass of wine. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer. We were given bread with butter as well. My dish consisted of clams, mussels, scallops, and shrimp over linguine in a scampi sauce. It was fantastic and enough to bring some home for another meal. My wife's veal cop was over two inches thick. It came with pasta. My wife said that it was delicious. Total bill ( two dinners, appetizer, wine, and tax) came to $85. We have eaten here in the past and will eat here again. It was a fantastic meal, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is on-streetand difficult to find, although at 5 pm on a Saturday, it wasn't too bad.

Hands down one of my favorite Italian spots in the area! Atmosphere is cozy and authentic. The food is so flavorful and exceptional as always. Our server was accommodating and friendly. I recommend the Gnocchi Sorrentina and all Seafood dishes are superb! Also love the Tiramisu for dessert. Love Abbondanza and can't wait to be back soon.
