Jimmy John's

Pretty decent "fast food" sandwich. This location is located next to the mall. There is a took of parking. This, like most locations is long and narrow with seating down the side of the restaurant. I like to order the #11 "Country Club" (turkey, ham, provolone). It normally comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Pictured, I have made some modifications (no mayo, sub Dijon, add onion, oregano and sliced pickles). If you want your sandwich or pickle cut in half, you have to order it that way. The ingredients taste fresh. I like that they put the sauce in between the meat and cheese so that they bread doesn't get soggy. Good call. However, my only trouble is sometimes the bread is a bit on the tougher side, like it's a day old or something. I have had nice interactions with the employees at this location; although I only live 2 miles away but somehow am "too far" for their delivery line. Not a biggie, just seems strange. I believe the sandwich, chips and pickle ran me a little over $11. Not bad for lunch.

Great sandwiches, amazing fresh bread. We always get the Spicy East Coast Italian it has double the meat I just wish it came with more cheese. The meats are sliced nice and thin and when they make the sandwich the cheese is in between the meat so it doesn't get soggy. This is how I judge a great sandwich spot. They also have great proportion of meat to vegetable. They use good quality everything on their sandwiches. I have never had a bad sandwich from Jimmy Johns. They also have a great rewards program.

Very unhappy with this JJ's right now. I ordered my lunch online, drove to pick it up, drove back to work to realize there was no meat on my sammy. I called and they offered to remake it. I accepted and drove back. Went in to pick it up and I said a cookie would be nice for my troubles (spent 30 minutes on my lunch driving there twice now), the girl working rolled her eyes and threw a cookie at me, turned around and walked away. I said I'm sorry but this has taken 30 minutes of my lunch, I think a $2 cookie is worth my business? She kept walking away from me. As I was leaving I asked another employee for the managers name and he pointed to her and said Cassie's the manager. So the girl who was extremely rude is the manager, great! Then I get to work and see the cookie she threw at me is EXPIRED. 5/29/20.

The manager of this location has completely disrespected and mistreated my boyfriend and I this evening. I really wanted a sandwich for dinner and since they don’t deliver to us he drove to Jimmy John’s and walked into the store at 8:58pm. Immediately, the manager says “ We’re closed” and my boyfriend was very confused because he still had two minutes left. (it’s cutting it close but they were open and the door was unlocked and google said they closed at 9pm. It was 8:58pm. And they’re supposed to be freaky fast.) Conversation went back and forth for two seconds, my boyfriend just wanting one quick sandwich, was being told to leave an open store that’s supposed to provide service until they actually close. The manager told him that no customers were allowed in the store and started threatening to call security. My boyfriend in disbelief asked him “really?” Completely taken back by this because the manager made him felt like he was some kind of criminal. I also didn’t know Jimmy John’s had security. It was now 9pm And after all this time with the manager arguing and threatening to call security, a sandwich could’ve been made. But they had already closed up the store by 8:58 and refusing to make 1 sandwich even though they left the door unlocked. My boyfriend asked to speak to a manager and the guy coughed and said well I am the manager and then he threatened to call security one more time and started walking towards the back room and my boyfriend turned to the female who was working on the soda machine And asked if this had happened before and all she said was “I’m so sorry” and she did seem to be genuinely sorry. There was another guy washing the dish washer watching everything. All of this happened in a matter of minutes and it really seemed like the manager didn’t want to make a sandwich late at night. We were unaware that these were Jimmy John’s policies. My boyfriend called another store at another Everett location and talked to a night manager who was incredibly nice and helpful and let us know that’s not how they roll. I’m not sure what’s going into with the Everett Mall location but we know to never waste their time again. We have never experienced this before and haven’t been made feel like criminals for showing up two minutes before closing for a sandwich. Maybe he was having a bad day? Maybe they really do close at 8:50? And we are wrong? So crazy!
