Darmstadt Inn

The food was good! They were understaffed with one waitress working the floor and one buss boy. It took a while to get our drinks and then waited even longer to get cream for our coffee. Asked the waitress for hot sauce which never came so I ended up asking the buss boy and he brought it right away. I can't really blame the waitress since she was the only one working a busy floor.

It is father's day and as expected they were busy. No issues there. We enjoy coming here and the food is normally good. It was ok today but the pancake I had wasn't cooked all the way. I already felt bad because there were a few minor things to correct with our order already so I just ate it. Our server take care of us as quickly as she could but definitely seemed a little under pressure with the amount of people there.

Arrived around 7pm Saturday night after attending CFC service. We actually stopped at a couple other places that had waits or bands [too hard to talk with each other], so we weren't surprised we had to wait for a 4-top about 5 minutes [they also had a help wanted sign on the door]. It was the first time there for my wife and I while our fruends have been there many times before. We looked over the menu of typical bar food. I ordered the cod filet sandwich and tots, while the other 3 ordered catfish sandwiches. Very good, great waiter and reasonable prices. Very noisy as is most establishments of this sort, but plan to go back again and try something different next time.
