La Bamba

First time going here and it’s set up with a Mexican side and Italian side which I thought was a little different. We ate at the Mexican side and the atmosphere was great, the music fantastic and the food was authentic and awesome. I ate a burrito which had steak that was so tender and the right amount of spices. My wife had a steak with shrimp and some of the best steak I have tasted. This is truelly a great Mexican restaurant and I’ll be back. The ratings are low but I think it’s for the Italian side as the Mexican side was awesome and will cause me to go back

Had a great dinner two nights ago. Ordered the Pasta Allá Vodka with grilled chicken. Delicious and big portion, specially after the salad and fresh bread. Enough to take some home. 2 separate restaurants kinda combined, you can order of either menu, so if you can’t make up your mind between Mexican or Italian this is your spot.

Excellent food and great service provided by Abby with nice laidback music on the background. Abby is personable, happy, charming, attentive to the needs of her customers. We enjoyed the rice bowl with grilled chicken; delicious! Accompanied with some tasty drinks. Highly recommend this lovely little gem in the heart of Estero in The Miromar Outlets where you can do some shopping at great prices.

Had the daily special, 3 enchiladas. It was pretty good, but they were also understaffed, so service took awhile. That said, the sangria was very good and the food was fine. Not the best enchiladas I've ever had but for the price ($10.99) very good. I wish the salsa for the tortilla chips had more cilantro!

Our waitress was very friendly, quick to take care of us, attentive and accomodating. The menu was extensive, the 4 of us each ordered a different entree and we were all very happy with our food. My tacos were piled high with toppings and lots of meat, rice was delicious and my husbands tamales looked fantastic. No complaints except for the bathroom. Clean, yes. But rusty.
