Saigon Noodles

Came here solo a while ago for a quick bite. I was greeted at the door with "For Here or To Go". I guess that's typical of these establishments? I would have preferred a smile and "Good afternoon, how may I help you?", but at least I was acknowledged courteously. The inside isn't much on decor. While I did love the artwork and the new-age/piano-solo music for ambiance, the seating could be a little more comfortable. Perhaps With some cushioned seating, but then again, it's not a fancy restaurant. The bathroom was clean, although there was a little graffiti; that's not the fault of management. I ordered a simple bowl of crispy-fried noodles with tofu and it came out fast. It looked as I expected and tasted just as good. The noodles could have been a tad crispier, but I still enjoyed them. Overall a good experience and is recommend to go again.

Went here with my brother-in-law on June 7th and I had the a Small Pho #17. I must say that it was very good and the broth was perfectly seasoned. If you haven't been to Saigon Noodles Restaurant in Escondido CA in the Stater Brothers shopping center (corner of Washington and Broadway) you should definitely go and try out their excellent Vietnamese Pho.

HORRIBLE PLACE... Service is horrible, a bunch of old veitnamese men sitting at the tables closest to the register, eating all day long, staring at the girls that walk in... Food: SUCKS! the pho is like water with noodles thrown in it. I was very suprised this place has ANY good reviews, someone posted a picture of the pho, you can see it looks like water, no spices or flavor... Save you money!
