Quaker Steak & Lube

What a great place! Had a good time visiting. Our toddler loved looking all around at the cars, motorcycles, and decor. Food was good. Typical foods. We ordered a Burger, chicken tenders (they are very small tenders), onion rings, fries, boom boom shrimp (6 of them) and a few dipping sauces. Came to about $47 with waters to drink. Was expecting to love the food but really wasn't anything much different than your typical American food place. Service was ok. Sat in a booth at the bar. We had to constantly go up to the bar to get refills napkins, and ask where our side of onion rings were. But, pretty good. First time there.

We love coming here on our trips to Erie. The food is always good, the build your own combo is a fantastic deal and the decor is second to none for auto enthusiasts! Our most recent server Molly was fantastic! As someone who works in the food service industry, I can tell she is a superb server who was attentive to our group, knowledgeable on products, bar specials and food prices. If she's your server when you visit, you're in great hands and can expect a wonderful evening! Can't wait to be back for more ghost pepper dusted wings and those huge crunchy onion rings! Don't miss it!

Definitely don’t get the most bang for your buck. Haven’t been to a Quaker Steak & Lube in years after the one in my area closed. Decided to try out this location in Erie. When my wife and I arrived the restaurant felt deserted. Not sure if it was even open at first. Was greeted and seated in the middle of an empty dining room. Awkward… Both of us ordered the chicken tender/strip meal. The tenders looked not even close to what they looked like in the picture on the menu. Tiny and mostly breading. Got coleslaw on the side. Which has onions in it. Never had it like that before ever. Service was attentive and friendly at first. But then two large groups came in and our server became overwhelmed. No one else helping her. Eventually I got the bill. Fortunately, I paid with cash so I was able to get out of there quickly. Felt ripped off. Could of gotten a better meal at KFC for less than half the cost. Wouldn’t return here for obvious reasons. Plenty of other options on Peach Street. Now I know why the Quaker Steak and Lube in my area closed…
