This Chevys should be the best ever. With it's space and views, it is very disappointing to not be satisfied. The salsa has changed for the worse. It is now very soupy. The daiquiris we ordered were both bitter and not sweet. We did enjoyed the sampler platter. Our server was nice and helpful.

The food was fantastic! Hands down a 10/10.
We ordered the guacamole (when it said table side I thought they made it at that table, not the case) and the salsa was complimentary. Both were delicious with warm chips. My husband has the fajitas Tex-mix and I had crab and shrimp enchiladas. The charro beans and rice were great as well as the small shaved cornbread. The view was beautiful of the water. So into the service, our waitress was doing her best, but it was a Saturday evening and quite a crowd. We had a reservation which helped us be seated quickly, but we waited 20+ minutes before our waitress made initial contact. I read the room and placed our food orders with our drink orders so we wouldn’t be waiting again. All in all, the food is so yummy we’ll be back, just maybe during the week when it’s a bit slower.

The staff here are a delight, the waterfront view is beautiful (if you are able to get a table near a window), the food is a decent price, and the drinks are great!! Whether you’re with your family or friends, rest assured you’ll be having a great time here

Surprisingly good. Very tasty brunch. I got a coupon for breakfast at $8 on weekends. I ordered the steak a la diabla and eggs. The meat was tender and tasty.

Didn’t know Chevys still existed.
Sat at the bar. There was only 1 bartender seemingly for the whole place and she was overloaded. Took a while till I was helped. Order some enchiladas and a beer. They were fine.

My family and I came out of town from Santa Cruz for a special event,the 100 year pin ceremony for Ironworkers local 378 Oakland. While staying at the Hilton decided to dine out at Chevys. Was greeted by the manager Juan Campos while waiting to be seated for the next available table.
Juan was gracious enough to seat us when the next table became available being we had our son who is disabled.The care and compassion Juan gave us was a Blessing. The food , service and the margaritas always top notch. Kat was our server, amazing. Go Chevys!!!

Positives: ocean view, decent food, laid-back atmosphere. Also, humongous portions. Negatives: parking can be a challenge, you *need* a reservation on…Fridays, holidays, weekends, well…pretty much everyday. Trust me, call first. 😆

Wow, I liked Chevy's before and my last recent experience at a different location was awful but this location so far is awesome!!! Yesterday we spent 180 at a waterfront restaurant and I will sooner come back here!! One thing I will say....reservations reservations reservations 😀
