BEST FOOD in Ely! BEST SERVICE in Ely! Started with the loaded Bloody Mary. Came with deep fried lefse, smoked Gouda, amazing potato sausage and all the other usual things. Hubby had the tempura battered walleye sandwich. Best walleye I have ever had❤️ The yummy bread held up to this very substantial Sammy. Extremely fresh tomato and lettuce. Homemade tartar sauce…. INCREDIBLE! And, those fries😍 I had the disputed island burger with homemade kimchi, homemade jalapeños, and Asian bbq sauce😀 INCREDIBLE! Served on a brioche bun. Service:A+ Food: A+ Ambiance: A+ Overall:OUTSTANDING ❤️

Absolutely brilliant. Each dish served was an absolute treat. I would highly recommend the goat cheese appetizer and would provide a photo but we ate it all before I got a chance. I left my hat and they were kind enough to keep it in the back for me until I came back to get it the next day. Five stars easy. ☺️

The food and atmosphere here were excellent. The drinks were made well and strong. The Flatbread was very large. The Bahn mi sandwich was good though it had a lot more pork than veggies. The bison burger was delicious. Garlic aoili sauce was really good but surprisingly, so was the ketchup! The ketchup tasted very fresh like it was made in house.

Good reviews caught our attention. But on a Saturday at noon with the place half full and both front and rear entrances with signs stating "Please wait to be seated"... we waited, and waited, and waited. No less than 4 different staff walked by a half dozen times or more and either made eye contact or ignored us completely. After standing around trying to get a seat for about 5 minutes we left and walked down to the Boathouse and got great service and great food!

Take out was super easy. Called, placed my order and gave them payment information, and when it was ready they brought it out to my car and it was hot. The food was really good too! We got a buffalo burger, pot pie, and asparagus soup. I wouldn't say it's life changing, but it was really good! The crust was so light and flakey. However it is way more than one serving. It would probably serve three people. The house chips were okay but nothing special. I look forward to eating there in person some day.
