Sunset Room

When my wife told me we were going to a wedding in Elizabeth, PA. An outdoor ceremony and reception in one place, I could not imagine where it could be. I pictured in my mind a Fire Hall with an outside garden as Elizabeth, PA did not strike me as a place for a 5 Star venue. Much to my surprise as we arrived at the top of the road, there it was.. A secluded scenic view of beautiful landscaped rolling hills with a fenced-in outdoor chapel. A horse-drawn carriage was sitting nearby. The inside was just as impressive as the outside. They even had an outdoor balcony that overlooked the outdoor chapel. It was a beautiful fall day with a gorgeous sunset. The food was excellent and the staff was very professional and attentive. This was one of the most memorable and nicest weddings I ever attended.

The sunset room was absolutely amazing!! Jill and Taylyn were the two wonderful women that worked with me through my stressful wedding process. And they were there for me 24/7, anytime of the day with all my questions and concerns. They really did everything they could to do to make my wedding day and as stressless and easy going as they could. I highly recommend the sunset room. Great people, great service, and a stunning venue. And the prices are pretty great too.

We had a good time at the wedding, but noticed how the staff looked miserable while we were there. The one in the more professional dress, seemed like she did not want to be there and we kept catching her roll her eyes. At a few times, noticed them point at a few of us and smirk. I know you don’t want to be there late but it is your job that you chose to do. I asked the bride and she said it was one of the coordinators she delt with. The bathrooms were a little messy and the table covering was dirty when we got there. The carpet was also dirty and had crumbs from a previous party I assume. Our table wasn’t impressed. The building was cold and stark and the parking lot wasn’t the best. Upon entering, the decor is lacking and so is the cleanliness. We felt like we were going into a paint ball court or entertainment center rather than a wedding venue that I am sure they paid a fortune for mediocre building and employees who made fun of people from the corner. I know I won’t want my son and my nephew going here. EDIT- I noticed they said I have the wrong location but this is the correct location. Enterprise St. in Elizabeth, Pa. It is the correct location. The situation was disappointing esp in a situation that supposed to be a happy time. Having staff members gawk at you, is unprofessional. I’m sure they don’t do this all the time but I fortunately it was the event that we were at and I happened to notice and snap a few photos and video of it. I didn’t want to say anything that time due to my anger and I didn’t want anyone else to notice. Sad times when businesses treat their guests this way.

This place is spectacular. I have been here twice for a wedding and a drag show, 2 different types of events and the facility very versatile. The space is huge and perfect for large scale events along with an amazing view hence why the name is Sunset Room! The food delicious and could eat the vodka sauce rigatonis all day. Also the bar staff are super nice and efficient! Highly recommend this space!
