Original Tommy's

Super clean. Friendly staff. Plenty of tables to eat alone, in a small group or a big group. Place to eat inside and outside. Delicious food with or without the chili cheese. Small parking lot...but you can always grab and go in the drive thru. Awesome that you can now take home a bowl of chili, I love that. Best chili cheese fries ever. It's right off of the freeway. A little more expensive than before, but still worth it.

Food is always tasty; great customer service-friendly! On this particular visit, the cashier misunderstood my order so I ended up with a burger with no chili and didn't notice until I got home. Sorry, the only purpose of going to Tommy's, for me at least, is to have something with chili on it. Will be sure to double check my order before I leave next time, but all around great joint for original chili burgers!

Amazing customer service the girl At the window. She does great job at exceeding this. For a moment I thought I was at. Hick fil a or something. They go out and beyond to meet your expectations. They are not cheap with condiments or napkins or anything. I've always seen this business hidden in a corner of the freeway,, never inteded to try it but I am so glad I did.

Me and my family ate at the Tommy's in El Monte and it was terrible! Employees were rude, are food was cold. When we asked for fresh fries, the lady boss got mad and re fried are fries! It's so sad, cause we are the only customers here. It was not busy at all, but we can here them making food and setting it aside for the next customers . The tables are dirty too! Don't spend your money here! We been a long time customers at Tommy

i think this is one of the oldest burger places i know and it's excellent. The burgers are quite messy because the sauce is the sloppy joe, and they make it pretty good, and the meat is not cheap, but it looks expensive. The chili fries are bomb not going to lie i like this chili fries more than the hot chili fries. Since the fries are thin slice and compare to over place, for example, the hat fries are too thick-cut, and i dislike about that, and thin slice are better because it stays crunchy more and tastes better.

I haven't been here in awhile so I didn't know what to expect, but I wasn't disappointed. The burgers are freshly grilled and the chili is still like it was back in the 80s. Their chili cheese fries were prefect. I haven't tried their spicy chili burger but that's my next meal there. Their prices have gone up, but where hasn't it?
