Menchie's

Been waiting for this place to open in the old donut location for a while now. I was really excited and decided to stop in for a taste/purchase. Atmosphere: Really bright and colorful. Outside patio w/ seats is a great addition. Kind of small and fairly loud since everyone is enjoying themselves. Service: Okay service. Very helpful when you walk in. They wouldn't break $100 bill, but after we grabbed a card, they gave us a BOGO card which was acceptable. Food: Soft serve frozen yogurt with a lot of flavors, fruit and candy toppings and syrups (hot fudge!). Overall happy with the flavors. My gripe is the price. We paid $9.00 for two not even full containers. It's WAY over priced. I'll stick to THE YOGURT MILL unless I'm absolutely craving a quick fix.

I like there offerings. Good flavors and lots of good toppings. I never go without a coupon or special pricing day, it's too expensive. There is another Yogurt place in La Mesa that has even more flavors and toppings at half the price without the hassle of coupons. If it were closer to me, I would be there often.

I couldn't be more in love with this place! They have wonderful flavors that rotate regularly. The vast selection of toppings is always fresh and well-stocked. They often have little free things for kids, like stamps or little activities. The employees are all friendly and helpful. They clean often so it's never a hodge-podge of mixed-up toppings from messy customers. My absolute favorite is their peanut butter sauce!!! No other place I've been to has that and it's like liquid gold for my taste buds! Menchie's prices are comparable to many other self-serve frozen yogurt establishments and they have a rewards program and deal nights. Parking is easy to find but may be a little challenge on Monday & Friday nights (those deal nights I was talking about) Just try it. You'll probably be hooked!!
