Found that the rice to protein ratio was a little off but the rice was flavored so a little more sauce would have made it better. Protein was cooked very well still juicy. Service: first time at the restaurant wasn't sure how things worked so I asked the person at the counter. They were pretty condescending in their response so we decided to get it to go instead of sticking around Atmosphere: open dining area kind of a food court feel. New to Edmonton, I had been looking for some good Caribbean food to ease my homesickness. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally I did. Because of COVID, I decided to call to place my order. The person answering the phone was very curt and unpleasant. Nevertheless I placed my order and drove to pick it up. Again, the person (who I assumed was the same woman who took my phone order) was unpleasant, curt and just plain unfriendly. It really took the pleasure out of the entire experience. The food was definitely delicious and the presentation was lovely. I would have loved to make this a monthly treat, but even the good food is not enough for me to disregard the poor reception. I won't be visiting again.
