Absolutely amazing food and service. Owners are as lovely as the food is! Only tried Sicilian arancini so far (pistachio ones if still available it is a must try and ragù ones are just delicious), will definitely be going back to try the rest :p

I have visited this café with my boyfriend and it really feels to be in Catania - Sicily :)
The food is made exactly as it is traditionally in Sicily with Italian imported produce.

The best place where, in Edinburgh, you can find yourself in an authentic Italian 'tavola calda'. The food is great, and also the atmosphere is the one we tend to miss abroad. If you're unsure on what to get, just ask for suggestions and have a chat with the owners - true Sicilian people and very friendly

Excellent authentic sicilia food. Came here on a whim and ordered the parmagiana panini and funghi arancino. Do not miss out on the arancino!! Very casual and basic set up but worth it for the delightful food.

Excellent food. Arancini and other Sicilian street food delights. Reqlly lovely proprietor who was keen to give us samples, he has that much (justified) faith in his food. Highly recommended.

the classic Italian small "tavola calda" with Sicilian delicacies. caution!!! It can cause dependence !!! The owners are very nice and the prices are super honest! Grazie a prestissimo

This place is pleasant surprise. I tried various types of arancino, the omelette and pasta and everything was delicious. The friendly and very kind owners made me feel at home. They will probably also offer a home delivery service! I recommend it to all those who want to try good Italian street food, cheap and healthier than many other things that you usually eat.

Great sicilian experience. Come here for authentic and delicious food, for a good price. I really recommend to try an arancino, as Alan says:”it’s the king of Catania!”. Also one of the few proper espressos in Edinburgh!
