My favourite takeaway when I visit Edinburgh ! The food is always delicious, hot and fresh when delivered. The lady taking the order is so lovely , always taking care to give an accurate time of delivery, especially when busy. Highly recommended 👍

Love the food from here and have done for a number years. Unfortunately they will be closing at the end of March 2023 due to rising costs and tax rates

This place was recommended to me and it doesn't disappoint.
Even simple dishes are cooked to perfection and I'm going to enjoy exploring some of the less common dishes they have on their menu.

So I tried Chef Chi after reading reviews and I wasnt disappointed. I ordered a lemon chicken dish & salt & chilli chicken dish, both were lovely. I went in to order my meal & Emma, who took the order, was really lovely, polite and thorough when taking the order. It was a 30min wait but I can accept that, it was busy, a Friday night & its clearly a very popular takeaway!! I'll be ordering from there again.
Update: 15th August, I phoned in an order, the lady taking the order was so lovely, upbeat & chatty, really lifted my mood. I was a pest, phoning to change my order but nothing was a problem to her. The food, chicken & cashew nut, fried rice, chilli chips, curry sauce, noodles & sweet n sour sauce was really nice, not too salty, not too bland, plenty cashews which other takeaways scrimp on and plentiful portions. Second time here and yes I'd recommend and yes, il be back.

Fantastic! Lovely staff, so friendly and warm. Food was spot on, everything fresh, the vegetables were lovely and crunchy, the rib meat just fell off the bone. Can't fault anything!

Best chinese food I've had in Musselburgh/Edinburgh in a long time. Food is well ventilated, deep fried stuff arrived in perfect condition. Food isn't greasy, doesn't leave you with that 'I've just had a takeaway' feeling. Food is very fresh. The service and the staff are friendly, helpful and give off very sweet vibes. They were very busy tonight and the food still came in 5 star condition. Cant recommend enough.

Just had first takeaway from here and it was by far the best I've had in so long. Will definatly continue to use them. Service was first class. The even called me back when delivery was on its way as my husband requires medication 15mins before food. They are the only takeaway that has done this for us. Very very helpfull 😁👌
