Gf Edinburgh

We were looking for gluten free bakeries when visiting Edinburgh (from the States). We were able to visit this cafe on our last day of the visit, unfortunately our schedule didn't allow us to be around the area during their open hours. Very friendly staff, and delicious pastries that my gluten intolerant partner enjoyed!

Really lovely cafe making my sons dreams come true where he could literally choose anything off the menu! Huge choice and very reasonable priced too! Small sitting area but we were lucky and got a table for 4 of us. The rest of us who weren’t gf were really happy with our meals too…excellent wee place and lovely staff.

I chose our holiday rental because this was close. I didn’t realize how close or what a great decision that was until we went in and met Helen. Holy smokes. That lady is the nicest lady in Edinburgh! I can’t say enough and I could go on and on and on so I’ll try to keep it short and concise. Not only are they gf and vegan but they actually CARE!! Helen spent so much time talking to our son about his options, not only in their menu but she drew a map of other places for him to try in the city!! Are you even kidding me?! By the 3rd day, she knew our sons allergies. She greets us by name. We pop in just to wave when she’s busy. We want to take her home with us!!! She and her son have the best business and restaurant in the city in our opinion. Helen is so genuine and so caring and so sweet and so funny. We just adore her and she makes us want to be better, kinder people. Even if you have no allergies, pop in and give them a try and tell them we said hello. You won’t be disappointed, we promise!
