Bob Evans

Don't even try to order curbside pick up. They will purposely ignore your calls. I ordered one order of biscuits and gravy and I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes with no response. When they finally answered they said "sorry we are busy and that's why we didn't answer." They could have told me that on the phone so that I at least knew my order went through. Ended up waiting over 60 minutes.

I always get my usual blueberry farmer breakfast, but right now they have strawberries for the pancakes so I decided to give it a try. I decided to get the blueberry banana farmer and add the strawberry toppings. I was a little disappointed because the strawberries came as a jam with small small pieces of strawberries instead of how the picture shows on the menu (also pictured in this review). It seemed like the presentation of the food was not ideal or anything like the picture & the banana had some bad spots on it too so I didn’t eat those. I also got served 1 egg instead of the 2 it’s supposed to come with & my bacon was way too over cooked. My boyfriend got the hog heaven (per usual) and his sausage patties and home fries were WAY TOO overcooked.. I could taste the burnt. At this point I just wanted my 2nd egg and forget about the rest & after pointing the egg out to the server, she had another egg in front of me within seconds and apologized multiple times and made sure we were good multiple times after I got my second egg. Amazing service, not so pleased with the food. When the server asked for my egg and I could tell (& somewhat hear!!) the cook was giving sass back about my 1 egg that was missing… like the cook didn’t believe the server… although my plate wasn’t even touched & my eggs were over easy so they would’ve been runny and yolky if I had ate one without them knowing…. I don’t remember the servers name but she was excellent & I wish I could get her every time. I gave 3 stars because the cook was also jamming out to loud pop music in the back (I guess it was better than the nothing that was playing in the restaurant - if there was something, I couldn’t hear it over the cooks music) & me and my bf got to jam out to Halsey & Post Malone at 9:30am on a Thursday… may have been a little odd for the rest of the restaurant, considering it was pretty busy and we could still hear her music 1/2 way across the restaurant.. maybe that’s why my a good portion of our food was burnt and I only got 1 of my 2 eggs :/

UPDATE: The manager was understanding and gave me gift cards to cover the meal. I requested that homefries be done crispy. The bacon extra crispy meaning the fat thoroughly cooked not the fat still white and sausages be crispy, the links barely cooked and the patties were burnt. Only the eggs were cooked as requested. Yesterday was my 1st visit to Bob Evans and the hash browns were warmed up nearly raw shredded potatoes, awful. But I thought I would give them another try since the rest of the meal was good, after today's meal I won't be back unless them comp my meal.

Me and my friend went to Bob Evans earlier this morning. I decided to get one of the Homestead meals which came with biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, and fruit. The fruit was very soft and soggy, the biscuits that went with the biscuits and gravy were hard and the gravy was disgusting. The eggs were very watery and the bacon was very overcooked and hard. Our waitress was nice but she did not check up on us, I then decided that I would get some potato soup since I didn’t really eat any of my other food and it was yellow and it tasted very old. Then I went to check out and my total came out to be around $18 and I gave them a tip of around $2.50 so my total came out around $20. And I looked at my credit card information and it said that I was down $41 from Bob Evans. When I called Bob Evans to fix the mistake the manager gave me a lot of attitude and she was very rude. My sister then also called Bob Evans to try to fix the problem and they were also very rude to her and they were not helpful all that they said was that they were going to get a hold of the general manager. It has been more than eight hours and they still have not fixed the problem.

Only 2 employees working at 8:00 a.m. 1 cooking 1 taking care of customers. The lady waiting on customers and also the phone in orders was doing a wonderful job for all she had on her plate. The food was not very good. Biscuits and gravy tasted like some kind of cleaning solution. Eggs and bacon were OK at best. Bob Evans has been going down hill the last couple years. They may be reaching their end

The Bob Evans restaurant in Eaton, Ohio is one that I cannot recommend! The service and food were terrible. I ordered hash browns with my breakfast - I got home fries with no offer to make it right with the correct item. What is worse the home fries were practically raw. I notified the server who took them back to the kitchen, who still didn't make it right! The rest of the food, including the gravy, were lukewarm. At the conclusion of our meal, we waited and waited for the check, and finally went up to the register, and waited another 5 minutes to pay the bill. Ridiculous - never again!!!

Would rate -100 stars if I could. Definitely not a kid friendly place. Was offered a high chair and a swing for my 10 month old and decided with the high chair as it was lunch time for him also. Was moved from one table because the high chair wasn’t able to be in the center aisle to be told the same thing at the table we were moved too. So if I opted for the swing where else would I have sat my child? Definitely not the cleanest of place, ceiling tiles missing over patrons tables and overall cleanliness of staff and restaurant was about 2.5.
