Tropical Grille

I wish this restaurant was everywhere! Everything we ate had a deep flavor, was prepared with care, and tasted amazing. Their sauces were excellent as well. It had a fast food sense of familiarity but everything was fresh and healthy. Highly recommend this establishment and their mustard curry sauce!

Menu says Family meal for family of 8 is $45.99… included in this price is 8 large sides… Any and all sides…I placed my order and the price was $59.00. I asked why and the cashier stated three of the sides are additional cost. 🤷‍♂️??? 8 sides means 8 sides. No? This type of deceitful pricing is not beneficial and aggravating. Have a family meal and some integrity and keep the posted price the actual price. The cashier said people complain about this all the time but she can’t do anything about it. I’ve eaten the food several times and it’s quasi healthy and taste fairly good. However, I value clarity of pricing and integrity more then I do good food. For now I’ll go somewhere else until their pricing is clear, honest and transparent to all customers.

We placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Awesome! We drive down to the restaurant and my husband goes inside to pick up our order. He's told it will be a few minutes. No problem.....10 minutes later the boy behind the counter looks at my husband, asks his last name, goes over to the bagged orders that had been sitting behind the counter since he walked in, pulled our bag and gave it to him. It had just been sitting there for at least 15-20 minutes, at least before we even arrived. No one bothered to check. My husband came back out and said it was pretty disorganized in there. The food was okay. Fairly bland, VERY dry chicken. We probably won't return.

I was hungry at 4 PM which is kind of a hard time to get fresh food, fast. Tropical Grill in Easley did an amazing job filling me up with a freshly made Cuban sandwich and freshly brewed sweet tea. We had a little wait but it was 100% worth it. The sandwich was hot and melt in your mouth good. Tons of pork with melted cheese, the perfect amount of pickles and mustard. The tea was sweet and freshly brewed (still a little warm at the bottom where the ice hadn’t hit it yet). There is nothing worse than getting sour, day old tea. The staff was nice (we did drive thru) and apologized for our very brief wait. All around a great experience.

I just ordered a family of 8 meal with chicken, rice, plantains, cilantro garlic sauces and tea. Uber eats delivered. I received chicken, crunchy, unsalted rice, zero out of four plantain sides, and all green sauces. No credit to my charge for the missing items, nobody is answering the phone. This location has been going down hill for months, but this is ridiculous.
