Doug's Burger Den

I wanted to like this place, but what a rotten experience! We went through the drive thru which took about 15 minutes, with nobody ahead of us. We ordered two burgers and a chicken sandwich and two orders of fries. That's it. We take it home to eat it, and we are missing one burger. My buddy had no complaints about his chicken sandwich, and the fries were fine, decent actually. My burger, an the other hand, left a lot to be desired. The patty was smallish, over salted, and compressed to the point that the edges were super thin and burnt to a crisp. There was no moisture left in the patty, totally overcooked. We called the place and told them about the missing burger, told them we were on our way back there. They said they would have it ready. We traveled for another 5 minutes to arrive. My son went in for the burger, and waited 15 more minutes for his double cheeseburger. They offered him a milkshake, but we don't know if it was owing to the long wait or botched order. The milkshake was average. Can you guess what both patties on the double cheeseburger looked like? Yep. Charred to a crisp, small, and salty. Son said it wasn't bad, but we both agreed we'd have been better off going to Mickey D's. And that's saying something.

Good food. But even with no wait in front of you, it still takes them anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes to cook and complete a order for one person. Other than that, the food is good, can be a bit pricey in comparison to other restaurants. But being the only Drive-In style burger place an eagle, can't complain about that too much

Pretty solid burger and fries. If you like Five Guys or The Habit, the burger here is similar, but on what tasted like a potato bun you can pick up from the store for your own cook outs. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing! The fries are good, best with some fry sauce. Milkshakes are good too. Overall it's a great little spot for a quick burger.

I ordered a double cheese burger with tater sticks. Everything was cooked well. The cheeseburger was juicy and delicious. My only complaint would be that there were not enough taters. The meal was served in an appropriate amount of time for a fresh burger. I wouldnt expect a place like this to be fast like fast food. Its better quality than that. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. I would go back. Thanks.

We moved from the eagle area a few years ago and decided today to go and see if there was anything new. As soon as we saw Doug's, we had to stop. The best breakfast we have had in a very long time!! Friendly staff and great food with reasonable prices! We live a few towns over and will be making it a point to come more often!!

Hey my husband and I don't know where all of you negative people ate.... We loved the Burger Den. The breakfast we had was great, food hot. Very reasonable in prices. Great wait staff... Bentli thank you for your great service with your beautiful smile. It was fun talking with the "Locals" too. They knew the history of this cafe. The rest facilities were clean. I just visited for my first time. Drive thru experience great! Food was good, the chocolate caramel shake tasty and the tots and nuggets my kid liked. I had to remind them of the ice cream cone and when I drove away I noticed they also forgot my kids root beer! So lost a STAR for bad memory. Everything else worked out so make sure you got your order! ;)
