Cafe Crane

Dark/cold atmosphere, gross coffee, and very rude service. The lady working there made a big fuss about us sitting down at an open table that some people "MIGHT" be coming to use in over a hour... (there was no reserved sign by the way... just a wide open table...). She told every customer who came in and asked about food that she was putting the food away so she could close soon (this was at 11:15 in the morning... 3.75 hours before they closed!) She guilt-tripped people wanting a straw because there was a "straw shortage"...??? She yelled "annnnnoying!" when a girl walked in and went straight to the restroom without ordering something. And to top it all off she was on the phone the whole time complaining about life between taking customer orders. We threw our entire large mocha in the trash and left because it tasted terrible and we couldn't take sitting there listening to her anymore. We're just sorry we gave her our business at all instead of walking out immediately when she made us feel like second class customers.

We randomly came across Cafe Crane and we are so impressed! Great espresso. The barista was kind. It’s a very warm and comforting environment, and has a different style than most coffee shops here in Idaho (in the best way!). It would be the perfect place to grab a coffee and get some work done. Definitely check this place out!

Cafe Crane serves Vita coffee which many may know from the Seattle. Where Cafe Crane really shines are their house made pastries, quiche and sandwiches, the cinnamon rolls being the star. The staff is exceptionally courteous and nice. If you happen to be in the area looking for espresso and breakfast, it is certainly worth the stop.

I love Cafe Crane! We've been coming here for years and it's always great coffee with great service. Tasmyn and her staff are always very friendly, cater to their customers and are almost saints with how patient they are with unhinged customers. Also a great place to sit outside, to sip your coffee, or sit inside and play games while you enjoy your amazing food. This is the type of place that you'll get greeted by name.. think Cheers but with coffee. (OK, maybe I dated myself a bit there... LOL)

Showed up at 1:55 ordered a cup of coffee was told there was no coffee available because they were closing; sign and Google says they close at 3pm. We were offered Americanos as a substitute she screwed up both the Americano orders And they were the worst Americanos we’ve ever had. Staff was also rude.
