Had the Sunday roast dinner. Wasn't entirely impressed with the presentation as the green veg was just piled in one big long dish in the middle for all of us. We found it a bit awkward maneuvering the dish around to serve ourselves. Portions were a good size, though, and all of us said our roast meats were cooked very well (4 of us all got different ones). The dessert presentation was spot on, and delicious!

Once again a beautiful meal! I had the burger for main then chocolate & raspberry tart for dessert. Both absolutely delicious. My oh had the ribeye steak adding prawns to make it surf and turf for main which was cooked to perfection. Then the sundae for dessert. The service, presentation and quality of the food outstanding.

The restaurant is very welcoming and staff are very approachable and helpful. The building is well maintained, clean and tidy. The food was very nice, however I'm sure the portions have shrunk since my last visit😞 Still, a lovely evening out, in a great location with lovely views. Very much worth a visit if you haven't been before. A great menu for steak and sea food lovers.

Visited the restaurant after work this evening. Was welcomed by friendly staff whom provided a window seat and took my drink order. The restaurant was busy but I wasn't disappointed and my needs where met. On my 1st visit to any restaurant I always start with the basics and ordered the fresh bread with olives. Baked to perfection and will visit again with the family. Price is reasonable considering its Located in the centre of Durham City, surrounded with great landmarks. A++

We were staying over for the North run and decided to eat dinner here. Overall it was an excellent experience. The food was amazing and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Our orders did take a while to come out however this was due to staffing and to be fair we were so deep in conversation with our friends it didn't really matter.

High quality seafood situated with a lovely view of the River Wear. The sharing seafood platter is a must for seafood lovers since it more or less contains many seafood dishes in the menu at small portions. I would have liked more than one slice of sourdough bread given the amount of seafood, and also the portion of the crayfish cocktail was relatively too much even for 2 people, but this is minor criticism
