They noticed I was reading their menu and were quick to inform me that the kitchen wasn't opened. I didn't stop on that occasion but returned on another day to sample their Innis & Gunn on tap. A friendly old style pub.

Well 3rd time we've had food here, ( bar bites) and I can say consistency is on point each meal has been great pub grub and portions are spot on. As an ale drinker can say I have had different ales on each time I've come and I'm impressed …

Excellent local bar. We had a Airbnb just down the street. Stopped in for a pint and a bite. The food was delicious. The staff was great and had some fun conversations with the locals. We had such a good time we came back again the next afternoon.

Recommended by the local RSC. Was looking for family friendly place to watch the game. Friendly staff and punters. Free pies out at half time.
