North Dumpling

We have been to a few places near here but never inside this spot so we figured we would give it a try. From a foreigner’s perspective, it was a little difficult to know what was good as the menu just says product names but doesn’t describe anything. We went based on what we thought was good. All in all, the food itself was pretty tasty and we liked everything we had. You can tell the food was fresh and made to order which we thought was nice. We didn’t really receive great service as he was not attentive and it was slow to get things. I personally felt like the tables and utensils were sticky so I don’t think it had the cleanest vibe. All in all, if we come back, we would rather do takeout as we would have the benefit of having the food but not having to sit inside.

NEVER COME BACK!!!!! I seldom post negative review cause I think every restaurant who survives during COVID-19 experienced a hard time. However, I will never come back based on such rude customer service of this restaurant!!! I found a bug on my plate and when I asked the owner to get another plate, he was so rude to me and said something like “I’ve already gave you one, why you need another plate?” Excuse me? Even though there is no bug here, I ask you to provide me extra plate as customers requests. Any problem here? What’s wrong with your restaurant? Do you think it is too much trouble to wash one extra plate? Overall, Food tastes below average. Dumplings taste way worse than the one I tried in China. Please have another try in some other businesses. Lol restaurant is not a thing to YOU guys.

Upon entering, the waiter wasn't giving off a nice aura.There weren't any other customers at the time so this shouldn't have been a problem. As I inquired about a menu item, I was given an answer in a rude tone about the differences of the dish. Customer service definitely needs to be improved. Instead of a welcoming feeling while eating there, the atmosphere felt very tense and it felt as if my party was not welcome.The cups are either dirty or not washed properly since there were stains.The lamb dumplings are good, but it's hard to enjoy food in a hostile environment. The presentation of the food was arguably worse than Travis Scott's performance during the super bowl. Also I had no ice cubes.

Decent spot for dumplings and noodles but expensive and not the best. For the price of the food the quality was definitely lower than I expected. Had the pan fried pork shrimp and chive dumplings, the soup dumplings, Chinese hamburger, and a noodle soup. The soup was good, but the Xiao long bao weren't juicy and were pretty bland. The pan fried ones were better. The sauces were a bit crusty and the table kind of sticky. But the host was nice and checked on us several times. Overall not a bad experience, but not sure I will go back.

Went here for dumplings. They were better than I expected based on the other reviews. But they weren't the best I've had. Customer service does need some work. We were given menus and told where to sit. After taking our order and delivering the food, we were not checked on again. The restaurant is small but not overly crowded based on the amounts of tables inside. The tables, condiments and utensils do need some cleaning. I wanted to use some with my dumplings but the exterior had dried on residue and were sticky, dust and who knows what else.

Very bad experience and NEVER come back!! Disrespect to customers and gave customer water from the sink and without ice. (FYI, they don’t ask whether or not you want ice) Hard to communicate with. One of them did not speak English and very rude to us when we have special requests. Food tastes ok but not a lot. Better find another place for dumplings and not come back!!!!
