Dickey's Barbecue Pit

My first time here, met family for brunch on Sunday. Had the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese, and creamed spinach. Chose the regular BBQ for the sauce. It was good, not great, ties it with my sisters spicy sauce and there was no difference in spiciness for me. Same for the sides, good but not great for the cost of almost $18 without a drink. Found the menu ok, not a huge selection. They closed the restaurant, locked the door...because they got a huge order. I can understand that they are short staffed, but not giving customers an explanation is not okay. A sign in th be door saying it will reopen at ?o'clock would be better than locking them out. People were looking in, pulling on door, wondering why the restaurant is open but the door locked. At $15-$20, 8 people that were turned away is lost income. Said they needed 20 minutes to fill a large order. Let the people know, it's a 20 minute wait, give them a cup for a drink if they chose to wait.

Let's start with "Yuck".... AM/PM bbq sandwich taste better then this place. ... First time ever coming to Dickey's I got the three meat choice. Which the guy taking my order was nice but very not informative. They didn't have ribs... NOW which bbq place you go to and doesn't have ribs?!?... Let go back to the food .. Nothing had flavor .. u literally had to pour over bbq sauce which was not good as well. Mac and cheese was gross and you can taste the artificial flavoring from the chesse. I also tried the taco ... why I don't know wanted to try something different... Never eat a taco at a bbq stand not good. Besides being gross it was expensive $25.84 . I would never come to Dickey's again.

My gf had a gift card and tried this place for the first time. It was about 5ish for dinner and all they had was pulled pork and chicken left. They also ran out of mac and cheese so we decided to get the pulled pork sandwiches($9 each) which were pretty bland which also came with a pretty basic BBQ sauce on the side. Don't think I'm ever coming back. It was also pretty cold as heck in there when it was like 60 degrees outside. Cashier was cool though.

We did not like it. We went at noon. We got our food about 15 mins later. So I thought it would be hot and fresh. But seems like itwas cooked yesterday and just warmed up. The brisket and pulled pork was below room temperature. The rolls were even close to warm. The service was good. But the food was little for price and subpar. I wouldn't recommend.

Food was bomb! First time here, for myself. Got the 3 meat with 2 sides deal. Pricey ~$25 with taxes and a drink(sucks, that everywhere is like this now a days, unfortunately.) Came with my family❤🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻❤. Bathroom needs more maintenance -- that was gross - really gross - can't recall if they had a baby station or not, but I hope they did cause the floors were wet and a huge puddle, not sure how my sister checked the baby when she came to the bathroom tbh. 😷 Customer Service needs more training - they did a good job for the most part - cashier should be knowledgeable of what types of food they see serving and a bit more friendlier - don't give attitude when someone is praising you and thanking you for a meal. I'm a very observant person - I take my work with me everywhere 😅 - try to see how to improve things for a business. Other then that I had a great meal, definitely coming back for the food. 😋😋👌 We ate indoors 😊🖤🖤. Loved it. 😁😁🙌 This place had the best Brisket (picked from my other families plates🖤)I ever tasted. 😍😍😋 Seriously, other places I go to the meat would be salty and I wouldn't be able to eat it from it being way to salty for me. All the meats were soft and pulled away easily. 😍🤤🤤 Easy for my sister to eat since she just got braces so it's been difficult for her to enjoy many of her favorite foods lately. So this was just perfect. 😍😍❤️ Can't wait to go back for the food. 😋🍗🍖🦴
