I think it's an Awesome restaurant. The foods delicious, the hostess was found lacking but the manager was just cute as a button; and provided superb service.It's $30 for the lamb plate; which I thought was pretty high. But it tasted quite good. I got the fish tandoori and it was absolutely delicious. It was odd the first time I had the stuff great leaves they were to die for the second time I could barely eat them. They went all out for Christmas!!! I mean really outdone themselves. Kudos to them , the entire restaurant looks beautiful and festive. I love the ethnic mix not just on the menu but in the environment. The menu is a very unusual mix of Greek Indian and Thai. It seems like it's really an Indian restaurant with some Thai and Greek food all mixed together on the same menu. I only really had one true complaint. Where's the spring rolls? Yeah I didn't see any spring rolls and Plum sauce. They didn't have the pistachio smoothie drink but they did have the mango and it was quite good. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant as acceptable. A great restaurant for date night or family night.

We've tried Taj a couple times now and while the food is very good I feel like it's a little expensive for what you get. $16 for a small styrofoam container of an entree and an equally small container for the rice and no bread isn't what I'd consider a good value. I'm afraid we'll have to keep getting food from there since they're the only Indian restaurant in town that I know of and what you get is very good I'm just disappointed in what I spent for what I got.

Authentic Indian Food in Dothan????!!! YES! This place is absolutely sensational. Everything we ordered was really good! We had some Friends in Florida tell us about it and they said we had to eat here if we ever came to town. So glad we stopped in. The samosas and naan bread was on point. Everything tasted homemade and the spice was JUST RIGHT! You can order the heat on a scale of 1-10. I got a 7 🌶! 😋👌🏽 Angela, our waitress was amazing. Very knowledgeable. You’ll love this place!

We have been several times and the food is always absolutely AMAZING. However, we decided on Christmas night to go out to one of the only restaurants open. There was a waiting list a line of ruuuude DoorDash workers waiting on their orders and the staff was clearly booking it. Our server was Mia and she was WONDERFUL. Despite the fact we heard two tables be extremely rude to her (as well as a coworker) she always greeted our table with a smile and went above and beyond for the best service. She was fantastic! Thank you Mia for making our Christmas special this year despite how your evening was going. 10/10 ask for Mia when you’re there you will NOT be dissatisfied!

The friendly staff and truly authentic food make this an amazing experience! And the price is really surprising considering the experience as well. Would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to experience indian or Greek cooking ! And the spice scale is an amazing option cause you choose how mild or how hot your food is with a scale if 1-10 .
