Childhood Memory🥰. What a fantastic place for an after lunch/dinner dessert. This brand, Freddo, had original ice creams from Italy. Great selection of flavors, coffee, ice cream bars and soft drinks. You could taste any ice cream before buying them. I wanted to have a waffle cone but they sold out... May be next time. There is an outside sitting area in the newly paved step of Giralda. We had a great Saturday afternoon.

I always go to this ice crean shop and had always loved it until today. I took my mom for the first time and i couldn’t regret it more. The service was absolutely awful!! We purchased 2 boxes of the 1/2KG both had huge holes in the middle of each ice cream flavor (missing product) when we told the guy helping us out he said he didn’t have to fill out the entire box because the box is bigger than a 1/2KG box. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Who wants to buy a box of ice cream half empty? To top it off he also wanted to charge us more than he was supposed to, there is a promo if you buy a 1/2KG box the second one is 50% off, regular price for this is $17 and he wanted to charge us $14.50 for the second box. The experience was just awful!

Despite being such a popular place in the highly touristed Coral Gables area, Freddo’s mask policy is atrociously lax. This is a high traffic food business. They offer seating inside for up to 8 people when the establishment itself is already very small. I’m a frequent regular at this location and for weeks there was no soap in the restrooms— considering we still find ourselves in the middle of a pandemic, with the newest strain 4 times as contagious as the original, this is completely unacceptable and hazardous to our community.
