This has to be the worst experience ever. The place reeks. Then when we ordered, the obese owner claimed I was being cheap for not ordering more. Then after waiting 25 minutes, they charged me over $12 more than they should have. When I questioned it, they said we were charged $2 for each cup of tap water they gave us even after I told them we had bottled water with us. I said we'll give back the tap water, so they agreed to reduce the price by $3. After I told them that's still not right, a waitress claimed I was acting like a difficult Walmart customer she deals with. That was it, I walked out. Unbelievable.

We were just in the adjacent (NOT BBY) parking lot and the fat owner "Mike" had multiple cars blocked in with his truck, so when we asked him to move his truck so we could leave, he gave us an attitude. Mike then proceeded to yell at an obvious juvenile female and her parent saying "People don't know what a G*dD*mn private parking lot is!" Mind you, This parking lot is used for multiple businesses. Mike has a huge entitled, attitude problem. I couldn't imagine dealing with this guy on a regular basis.

I was introduced to this place about five years ago and every time I go to Dixon I make sure to get some of the best fried chicken ever! I also seen a shown on a TV show called Shipping Wars and in the show some band had to have their delivery vehicle which was a Mustang with a chicken on top that I'm almost positive came from this location. LOL

Looking at the menu, I thought it was rather costly. I got the kid's chicken tenders at $9.95 and a full order of onion rings for $3.65. A half order was $3.25. It appears to be family owned. There is counter seating as well as 5 or 6 booths. When my order was called, I was surprised to see a grocery sized paper bag. Upon inspection, there were 4 generously sized tenders and a baked potato. The picture shows 3. Very crispy, lots of white meat. The onion rings were lightly battered and delicately crisped yet sturdy. The portion size was generous. Two hearty eaters would be satisfied. BBY Chicken is definitely a n establishment to go out of your way for.
