I've never been to Newton le willows before but couldn't help but notice shakey j's, from the outside it looks like a traditional American diner, the inside is full of retro video game mural paintings on the wall that fitted in well with the decor. The food was super tasty, and the coffee was aromatic and full flavoured. I will definitely be going back to try the rest of their delicious menu offerings. Overall I would totally recommend a visit, the staff are very friendly and can tell it's a big hit with all the locals.

Took the kids (12 and 11) for a treat and was really impressed. The staff are lovely, attentive and welcoming. The iced coffee was very nice and they offered dairy free options at no extra charge. Not the cheapest of places (although not over-priced either) but definitely worth the money for fresh, homecooked food. We will definitely be visiting again.

Love it in here! You really are made to feel so welcome and special. Staff treat you like they’ve known you forever with such a warm welcome every time and the atmosphere with other customers speaks for itself, everyone obviously feels the same! Also the food is amazing and the milkshakes are perfection, we’ve called an order through lateish on a number of occasions and nothing is ever too much trouble. Really reasonably priced too! Cannot recommend enough, an absolute asset to the high street :)
